When an "invalid gear" is invalid? If you make invalid gear and try to use any custom you will get a ten minute ban.
Stats that you can't normally get, it's mostly figured out but there is a little that is unknown so far. So I can't tell you exactly what is valid and what is not. When an "invalid gear" is invalid?
It seems I'm not the only one having problems.hello is there a video tutorial for this editing process?
Which version and could you try using the command line?Hello, @gudenaurock I would like to see a video tutorial explaining how to edit saves. I tried everything said in the forum, but it won't work. As soon as I open the standalone .jar file, it immediately closes, sometimes saying, "Error: Could not find or load main class C:\Users\-----\Downloads\Editor\Editor.jar".
I'm not sure what to do. I know someone else couldn't use it either, but the only help they got was "pop it in to the editor", which I'll need some more explaining on.
It seems I'm not the only one having problems.
Can't help you with transferring to the Wii U version, but to fix other issues (like certain edited equipement only showing up for one character) I used a combination of gudenaurock's editor from this thread, and Flurry's
SSB 3ds Badge Editing format
I first use gudenaurock's editor and save my changes, then I open the same save in Flurry's editor and right click->Set every equipment that I edited or added. Then I go back to Gudenaurock's editor and use the arrow keys to highlight all the equipment really quickly, then save (This last part is just a precaution, it probably doesn't serve any purpose). That may fix your problem with Item names. Side note: on Flurry's editor, the name will change (ex: Mr. Saturn Coat becomes just "Coat" but in-game it should show up properly)
