Homebrew [WIP] SafeSysUpdater

I have sucessufully downgraded my N3DS 10.3.28U to 9.2!!!

I have used the SafeSysUpdater from this thread and worked very nice! Thank you very much for your app! It worked at my first attempt and I just had one issue: It didn't reboot by itself.

Before attempt I formated my system and my SDCard using the Nintendo's recommendations. It seems to help avoiding softbricks.

So, everything sounds good so far! Tomorrow I'll spend my day reading and reading tutorials how to setup a CFW. I hope it works like the downgrade has worked for me, with no issues.

it has been sitting at this for more than 5 minutes... and everytime I start it this same happens, any tips please?

Yeah. I think there's a title that you need to remove..as well. But, that is most likely your issue.

@cpasjuste I finally got it to work after 24 attempts! Thanks, great work!

Alrighty! Finally got it to work after around <20 times! Just keep trying and you'll eventually get past that "init ->" point.

Time to see if I can do some cool things with this.

I'll take a look today to the JPN code, but i don't see why it wouldn't work :/ By the way what's your firmware version actually ?

I can never get past the integrity checks I always get a MD5 fail on the first cia. Is there something else I need besides the cia's in the update folder?

I just found the problem, i did a mistake on the JPN files path :x I'm uploading a fixed version in a few secondes..

i downgraded an o3ds and an n3ds at the first try with the latest sysupdater from julian20, but both 3ds must be on 10.3.

my o3ds was on Firmware 10.2. and the n3ds was on 9.8.
i wanted to downgrade without success.

i figured out that i must update both 3ds to 10.3.
my entry point was ninjahax2.5 with ftpbrony exit.

i have format both 3ds before i downgraded and after i downgraded.

both 3ds works very well.

So the "9.2 JPN Full" pack is in fact a 9.1 one ? :/ If so it would be nice to find a real 9.2 JPN pack so i can update md5 to that.. Else i'm so happy for you

I use "cLion" IDE to compile it, but it should work with "cmake" from command line (mkdir build && cd build && cmake ..)

I think so. After all of the reading I have done about downgrading it is common to see the Japanese consoles downgraded to 9.1J. For a while it was listed as "strange" but now it's pretty normal. I was not surprised to see it.

Wow upto v8 now.. glad it's working well for everyone. If only some people had waited a bit for a safe version instead of jumping on the first (very poor for newbs) tutorial/release and getting bricks.

I tried to check files, all is good and in green.
But when I try to use Y for downgrad, I got a freeze:
