Ok, so ive done this before with my copy of conquest and recently got a cia for the SE so i could play revelations. When i went to FEAT however, it said my GameData.bin.lz file couldn't be extracted. Renaming the file to .bin and running the randomizer did nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Renaming doesn't do anything. It means your GameData.bin.lz is corrupt. Just get a new one and it should work.

I have been doing HANS since launch, and I know that NTR or CFW is better, I just don't have the time to set up a whole new thing when HANS works fine, so it'd be great if people got off my case about it. Anyway once I get the opportunity I'll try replacing them and seeing what happens. Probably a crash, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Edit: Why did my computer suddenly make everything I type itallicized?
I'm not trying to get onto your case, just explaining that if you want to randomize all three paths you probably need cfw or a special edition.

Other people may be in the same boat as you, and even if you don't have the time to set up cfw, they might.

I can't stress this enough. Stop using HANS and get custom firmware via http://3ds.guide. It's a lot easier and less frustrating than trying to make HANS work. Some people can make HANS work, but I feel like things go better when you have custom firmware.
I'm so sorry, this is my first time working with this kind of stuff and it's been very confusing. I really appreciate your response, I think I know what I ought to do now.

Ok so i tried redumping my game and i still got the corrupted GameData.bin. Do i need to get a different cia or what?

You could try using an alternative tool for decompressing the file, like Puyo Tools or the original version of FEAT.

If your only issue is the gamedata, just use the one from the gay fates mod, you'll likely need it anyway if you want to have Robin, Lucina, Ike, and Marth added to the randomization pool as otherwise you may lose children if you randomize children as well.

Well, I've followed the instructions for NTR exactly (at least I think I did) and when loading the game nothing is randomized. I don't know where I messed up cause I stuck to the instructions the entire time. Again, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance and much love. <3

Do you get a green flash when you load the game after launching BootNTR?

You're missing the Conquest folder. You can only use the fefatesSE folder if you are using the Special Edition. Try renaming the fefatesSE folder to Conquest.
That didn't work, however I did retrace my steps back to installing the Same-Sex expansion and I was able to find the US Conquest specific folder. There were two links to install from, I guess I just chose the wrong one. Now after everything I get a green flash before the game opens but the characters remain unchanged. Perhaps I should re-randomize the original rom and try again?

1. Get the files you need for randomization but don't randomize them yet.
2. Get the files needed for the same-sex marriage hack (from the US Conquest folder) and override the files you have from step 1.
3. Redo the randomization using the files.

Thank you so very much, this has worked perfectly.

And now I come back with another problem. The game has stopped working for me (not being able to play the chapter) on chapters 2 and 4 so far. 4 on the first time I was able to play the randomized game and 2 on the second time (I had gone through the randomizing process again). I think it has something to do with characters that start out with Hoshido, Kaze stayed the same the first time but was changed the second and Azura was changed the first time. I don't know much about this though so I may be completely wrong about the problem.
