I've fixed some bugs I've encountered while messing with this.

so, I'm curious. This will eventually allow us to convert visual or sound novels and play them on the 3ds? If so, that would be awesome. I honestly believe visual novels are much better portable. I would love to play the higurashi games on my 3ds someday.

It's already possible to port a game like Higurashi, which doesn't have any kind of choices. =)

After checking the script included with the download, i think i could probably port it. it'd be very tedious though, as i'd need to completely rewrite the script for it, rejigger the timings, figure out where all the files that get called are, and what order the scripts are in. i could do it, but it would take a long time.

woah! i didnt say i was going to do it! I dont wanna get your hopes up. i just said i could do it. i wouldnt dare try it by myself. theres 30 hours of reading alone there. i'd need some other poeple working on other scripts at the same time if i wanted it done in any reasonable amount of time.

It's not worth, specially when there's a port of that game for vnds and there is a port of VNDS for the 3DS that kind of works.
The easiest route would be to resume development of VN3DS and use it to play the game that was already ported.
