Some old MS-DOS visual novel games could be played using DOSBOX version for N3DS.

If someone manages to make an interpreter, maybe. But you can't just magically run an exe file on a 3DS.

If you're looking for visual novels on the go, the PSP is probably going to be your best bet as far as budget options since many windows VNs were ported over either officially or by fans.

You could probably also try one of the many handheld android emulation machines out there but they probably won't do any good for playing the windows native ones unless there are compatible VN runtimes/interpreters for them out there.

There's a homebrew port of the LÖVE engine to the 3DS, but I have no idea what it's good for these days.

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind when I get my hands on a PSP, will be useful
But, I'm currently working on reviving my old consoles, with brand new fresh titles, and visual novels seems the easiest to make/import, lol
