Charlie Owen, who appears as a "retrosight" on GitHub, was one of the original managers of the Windows Media Center, and he has uploaded the software development kit (SDK) there. Owen writes that this way he wants to get a piece of software history. That this is the SDK and not the installer has a simple reason, because the latter was lost in the "cleanup" related to the Windows Media Center.
