You may have to "unlock" some ports in your router, and be sure that you type in the correct data if you manually configure the network..

You have to enter your router to unlock port 8888
enter the IP of your router into your browser (usually 192.168.0.1 , 192.168.1.1 , 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.0.2 try some of them)
As i don't know which rotuer u got, I cant help you any more.

Aquiring the DCHP seems to be a problem for me, after a while it says could not connect, Beup & mario kart do work though, anyone know how to fix this?
