Hacking Question Will Xecuter Sx Require A Game Cart

Does Anyone Know If It Requires A Game Cart To Be Inserted At All Time, So It Emulates That.
Or No Need Because I Have Several Switches In My Country With Broken Game Card Readers, And I Was Being Asked This.

well i know its working on fusee, but no one knows how the backup loader works, if it needs a game inserted at all time or not.
because in TX video its showing the games as Game Carts, so i jumped in to thinking it might need one

It's a valid question but my guess would be SX OS will reroute to the SD card this trick into believing the XCIs are inserted.

Wasn't sayd that the games are stored on SD? Maybe the Switch sees them like they are installed into its memory, as original digital games

yes on sd but did you see the cart icon and when they refreshed each time, before loading the game, maybe thats how it works

They are seen as carts as per the video. I think he just means have a cart inserted to validate. But I don't think that's the case.
