will using nxmp while online get me banned

just a simple question, i use atmosphere for smash mods and stuff and i was wondering if toying with apps like the media player nxmp would warrant a ban from nintendo. just curious. thanks!

If you’re not using exosphere and dns:mitm your telemetry would be relayed to Ninty and they could decide to ban you. Running anything except pure Nintendo approved software has potential for a ban. Risk starts off small but increases based on criteria others have discovered through trial and error and deductive reasoning over the years. There are no hard and fast rules and even if there were, Ninty could change them at their leisure.
