Hacking will this flashcart work for me?

i have a 3ds that the previous owner gave to me fully updated, even though i requested that he didnt update it

now im just wondering if this flash cart will work for my needs?

or do i need a diffrent one, if i do, what would you suggest?

I suggest buying either an Acekard 2i, a Supercard DSTwo, or an R4i Gold from www.r4ids.cn These three cards are currently the "best" and all work on the latest firmware. The DSTwo has more features, such as a GBA and a SNES emulator (thanks to its built in CPU) while the Acekard 2i and the R4i Gold don't. I suggest getting the AK2i if you don't care about GBA/SNES emulation. Sometimes it's updates are slow, but I've had one for 2 years or so and it's never failed me yet.

I would advise you check out the r4igold Suprgamr232 mentions... original though so must be r4ids.cn on the packaging (http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149)
Its supports the wood firmware which I personally rate and the build quality cannot be compared to acekard2i from my experiences with them.
They have so far provided decent support when its been needed through their site (dunno if its back online now..) and quick firmware updates when they have been needed.

No. If they are compatible with 3ds they still run in DS/DSTwo mode only.

No, no flashcards support 3DS games there are no ways to play any kind of 3DS ROM. Chances are none of the current flashcards will be able to play 3DS ROMS.
