Hacking Will this card work with firmware 1.4.4E?

Hi guys, i am having troubles with this card " R4i 1.4 Revolution for DS. "

It works in all of our DS lites and DSi XL ver 1.4.1E but not on DSi 1.4.4E?

Did you actually run the firmware update? Putting it on the MicroSD doesn't do anything until it's run.

Just re downloaded current files 1.72 but now saying wrong date or firmware expired. The date is correct on the ds lite. Can't remember what version of kernel I had on there but didn't need a date fix

No I can't run the update, don't show update available on any of our ds's even though the update file was put in root of sd card. Don't know how to check the firmware version on the ds lites but I'm almost certain they haven't been updated online. I know the r4 firmware update can only happen on a lower version ds

pretty sure that card was killed off with update 1.4.3 on the DSi
its a hardware issue so will never work on 1.4.3 or higher DSi

Ok mate, I've got another card I'll take a pic of in a bit. It's an R4 3DS and it comes up the same please turn off console black screen with white writing

Same original deal, you need to run the firmware update via a DS (like an older model) that still runs the thing.

Ok cheers, i've got a fat ds at home so will try an update with that is the 3ds card old technology now then and will it run 1.4.4e?

Whats the best card out these days and any good uk place to buy?
