Read my past post.Buy $300 system to install OS that can be found on $25 stick/tablet ..... why?!
You used dolphin as a point. Ugh. It runs "okay" at best. Add in the fact that we're looking at a gimped X1 that would be slowed with the mobile OS running in the background and performance would be... Meh...
Its just 1 point among others. You used dolphin as a point. Ugh. It runs "okay" at best. Add in the fact that we're looking at a gimped X1 that would be slowed with the mobile OS running in the background and performance would be... Meh...
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. More power to you.Its just 1 point among others.
But my point stands, because its possible. i mean if people wants to do it, let it do it.
F0F running Linux on a Switch and the average user booting Android on the same device is two different things.Using android as a Dual Boot, will grant you access to plenty of new areas, i must remember you that Dolphin its already running on Android, as well as Dreamcast and other good emulators, its like telling F0F why would you install Linux on a device that runs a Nintendo Os, the answer is, Why Wouldn't you?
"Why not?"Why Android on Switch?
Shield Firmware pls"Why not?"
Plus, Android and possibly Shield TV games
more gamesWhy Android on Switch?
just root all your phones. its sooo much betterMy android is just 1KB .
Anyway I'm sure there must be some custom roms without blootware with all crapware removed for way less size... Though I never really had interest in installing a custom rom or messing with the kernel on any of my devices...
I only rooted my older phone because its low rom space was pissing me off so I just rooted and erased almost every crap including themes, backgrouds, ringtones... at the end I ended up saving around 400MB

You can supposedly just spoof the Shield hardware ID on stock Android to download the games straight off the play storeShield Firmware pls
why wouldn't switch be powerful enough to run shield tv games?Provided it's powerful enough for the same things Shield can run. You know how people are always shitting on its lack of power.
"Waah waah waah, the Switch isn't powerful enough to do this wah wah wah"
why wouldn't switch be powerful enough to run shield tv games?
