Gaming will 3DS 3D Pictures be able to be moved to a computer?

Solution
The 3DS will have its photos being able to transfer to computers, but until there is a 3D computer screen, there will be no use trying to view it in 3D. You will just see it as a 2D graphic. It might even show up as double layered if Nintendo don't patch the files to be 2D compatible on a COMPUTER monitor as opposed to the 3D screen on the 3DS.

Most likely not, however, if your monitor is 3D then perhaps it might work. My theory is that 3DS uses some kind of technology on it's screen that made the effects of 3D and if your monitor isn't 3D, it won't yield 3D effects and show just 2D. Unless u use cross eye technique. xD The reason why the 3D has two cameras in front is to be able to capture 3D images and only viewable on 3D screens. As far as moving pictures to your computer yes you can move pictures however the 3D effect might be removed and just 2D images. OR it may be using a different picture format like example.3d, but who knows. :D

Simple answer: Yes

Detailed answer: The 3DS saves 3D photos in the DCIM directory on the SD card.
They are stored as .mpo files. That's a container format that is used iin this case to store the two .jpg files that make up the 3D image.
These. mpo files can be transferred from the SD card to a computer by using an SD card reader device.
Most image viewing programs on the PC will just show one of the two .jpg files when viewing the .mpo file.
