Hacking WiiWare wiiviews

If mods want to move this over to the general board feel free, but for those of you who have gotton Wiiware games early via the WAD installer, whats your view on the games?

Atm I have Dr Mario, Pokemon Ranch and final fantasy. Im getting that Mojipittan word puzzle game tomrrow.

Dr mario is awesome. Then again I wasnt expecting anything less. The games increadibly fun even without the wifi mode. However im not sure about this but am I right in saying theres no ranking mode for wifi? I also like the fact that you can use the gamecube controller in the remastered classic version.

Final fantasy is great. Ive only just gotten used to it as there is a massive amount of jap text (as expected). I'll certainly be getting the english version of the game.

Pokemon Ranch is the bizarest games Ive ever seen. Its terrible but in a warping kind of way. I have a japanese copy of diamond so the trade function works for me. The games sort of a cross between hey you pikachu, pokemon box and rarewares Viva pinta. The graphics are terrible.

I have all five playable games there (not Mojipittan because you NEED to know Japanese to play it)

Star Solider R is my favorite though. Final Fantasy is the worst.

I'm Deffinatly buying Dr. Mario and Final Fantasy when they come out in usa, they look like loads of fun =p

Mojipattan puzzle isnt that bad if you know what to do. Im on chapter 2 on final fantay, it takes a while to get used to but its gets a bit better once you get used to it

i dont know where to find em. i guess i'll just have to go torrent searching again lol

out of the jpn releases i have seen around Star Soldier R is the only one that looks any good to me. i am about to install it, impressions inbound.

as far as US releases, Gyrostarr and Protothea look fun.

Ill proberly end up buying the normal version of Star Soldier R since it will be out on PAL by the end of the month and i will have money in the bank by then

Star Soldier R is quite fun. i might have to buy that on monday when its available in the states.

the fast shot mode is brilliant. you tap the fire button for 12 seconds and see how many shots per second you can get. its very addicting.
