Well... i have just start to learn how to do some bat... and well... like an exercise for me, i did a bat to change ID on craptriiforce forwarder mod. (in orther not to compile myself)
With this you will be able to do any VC main.dol to use on a ISO and will load straight to the game on USB device
The bat ask one after another the ID letters in CAPITLAS and at the end generate a new main.dol with the new ID values.
Edit: Auto ID for this main.dol
Sr Corsario

Your bat is very useful

@Jiiwah can you add it. (3b-Hexadecimal)

Here it is. And everyone using this template, please remember that the title (spine) in PAL is always gray. Myriad Pro looks a lot like the original font used in game covers.

WiiWare & Virtual Console NTSC

World of Goo-ISO-WGOE00
Jiiwah, I installed this ISO, but it's looking for title 00010001\57474f50 which is the PAL version (WGOP). NTSC is 57474f45. Just to let you know.

Add a custom sound file..

1*Open your sound with wavosaur and convert it to mono. Click “file” and select “save as WAV…”
2*Right click the .WAV you just created and rename it to “sound.bin”. Make sure the extension changed and not just the file name.
3*Open MD5Sig.exe and point it towards the sound.bin you created. Click “Firmar”.
4*Repack the 00000000.app with the new sound.bin. (You must use the u8packer) or use wadder ( Exchange sound.bin)

or use Ewes v11
- Extract the 00.app file from a Wad.
- Extract the Bin`s from a Wad or 00.app.
- Change the TitleID of a Wad.
- Make a Wad RegionFree.
- Make an 00.App file.
- Extract Tpl`s from Wad`s, App`s and Bin`s.
- Make a Wad out of a 00.App and Dol.
- Convert a Tpl to Png.
- Convert a Mp3 to a Sound.bin.
- Convert a Elf to Dol.
- Extract the Brlyt and Brlan from a wad or 00.app.
- Inject a 00.app file into a Wad.
- Make a Banner or Icon.bin.
- Extract the Opening.bnr from a Iso file.
- Extract everyting from a Wad.
- Browse the files inside the Wad Just like WinRAR does with Rar files.
- Preview the tpl's in a wad,00.app or bin file.
- Unpack the sound.bin to either Wav or Bns.
- Change the NANDloader in a wad.

adding custom sounds steps are a bit sketchy, any proper instructions, ive used several methods and none work, i either get a "Partition is to big" error or no sound at all

PS. most .exe's mentioned arent even in the DL links?

@spayrosom: you forgot 'la tranche, le coté' on your Mario Kart 64 cover.

@pepxl: I added your text for WW/VC on my post, I think that your english is better than mine, lol. And thanks again for your works.

@Skizzo: All is good now, I hope. Thanks for your tests

@Oops: Thanks for your covers. Et merci pour la version française. (and thanks for french version)

no worries Jiiwah, i have a few ISO's that i want to add custom sounds to but i cnt seem to get them to work, i can onlt get extracted sounds from .WAD's to work, shame there pretty good sounds aswel.

No one no a good tut on how to get these to work flawlessly, custom sound.bin files that is, to inject into a oo.app/opening.bnr

@pepxl : the sound source is MP3 or wav? with or without loops?

If you want to inject a sound.bin into 00.app (opening.bnr), launch Ewes v11, choose make a 00.app file, select your sound.bin banner.bin and icon.bin. rename your 00.app file in opening.bnr, cut the first 64 byte

otherwise a sound.bin is wav file (Bits per sample : 16, Format : PCM) renamed in sound.bin and signed with md5sig.exe md5sig

Its an .mp3 converted to .wave, tried Nero wave Editor,Wavasaur and Audicity, not sure about loops - ive never set one

If you want to inject a sound.bin into 00.app (opening.bnr), launch Ewes v11, choose make a 00.app file, select your sound.bin banner.bin and icon.bin. rename your 00.app file in opening.bnr, cut the first 64 byte

extracted opening.bnr's work no probs just cant get any custom sound.bin's to work after repacking 00.apps's(Ewes errors something about U8tool but U8packer and U8extractor work from another pack i have)

otherwise a sound.bin is wav file (Bits per sample : 16, Format : PCM) renamed in sound.bin and signed with md5sig.exe md5sig

used MD5sig to no availe but says sound.bin is correctly signed, do .wav's have to be specific length, sample rate, size etc, i already now about PCM format and Bit sample

Any help would be great
