Yeah that's kind of why I didn't want to download it.
Doing it when it's officially out is one thing, but they can easily track people who downloaded it when it's not supposed to be available.
im pretty sure what happened is when the 4chan thing got popular and people starting crying leak, ninty was like, woah wtf! and then pulled it.
I'm not sure why people are saying its been removed from New NUSGrabber, I just checked and its still there to download on mine (I haven't even done it yet, as I don't see the point without the ticket, yeah it might save me some time now, but there is also the paranoia of Nintendo seeing me take those files).
so, heres the thing, if ninty was going to try and get all the people who downloaded, why would they pull it the instant it gets popular instead of leaving it up and letting everybody fall into it?

yes, its there, but on eur (which worked before) it will not download now.
Oh I see, as to your first question, why would they want to purposely set a trap like that? If that was their end game they might as well just post the game in full on their website and say, "go on and download it illegally for free, we dare you."

ok, i really doubt they store ip addresses of access to the nus. they have no need to do so under normal circumstances. if they wanted to and were able, they could have ip banned or sent letters to all the sun/moon pirates, but they didnt. also, it appears 4chan has officially deraled into meaningless drivel (well, more so than usual).
Soo odds of them seeing 5gb out of the full size downloaded just stopping is low?

well, no. you see, if you connected at all, and if they have the capabilities you fear they have, its the same thing.
Considering they tracked down the guy that leaked New Super Mario Bros. Wii and sued him (and came to a settlement of 1.4 million dollars in damages), and the Pokemon Sun and Moon banwave, I wouldn't put anything past Nintendo. It all well could lead to absolutely nothing, but why risk it? I'll just DL from the ISO or Chaos site in full when that ticket is released, at least then I'm not getting the files directly from Nintendo's servers prior to the game's release.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
