this is what the guy said
I work for some time on a custom menu system for the Wii XBox360 similar to that of. Today's release of the Rev 4 is still in the beta. DH is a lot but not everything works and perfect.
That tool has ansich itself is also a small risk because a Brick Wadmanager is installed, otherwise nothing changes to the system.
It is always recommended to have an SD slot in as much access to it.

Changelog:
- DVD support (Neogammagx)
- Neogammagx settings
- ULoader Support
- Wadmanger
- News Updates
- WiiWare launch list and
- Start Opera Channel and Miichannel
- Update your own function
- Changing design (+ or -)

Todo:
- Friends system
- Expand WiiWare Database
- New better graphics
- WiiMC Support
- Games Statistics
- Options

- Thanks to Yoshio Database for WiiWare

can someone translate this to english? it looks awesome
the only real german things seem to be "meine wii" and the blank "Freunde"
pretty much in english already,
"mine, friend"

Let's see...a rough translation based on google translation and my own (limited) knowledge of German:

Custom Systemmenü für die Wii im Xbox360-Style

Ordnerstruktur: sd:/apps/wiisixty/boot.dol

Screenshot: http://s10.directupload.net/file/d/2179/y7zv39w7_jpg.htm

WiiSixty is a complete system menu, though very different from the original. My system is a complete menu Xbox360-style and more. For example, you can start NeoGammaGX, WAD Manager and other very useful homebrews with one click. A Brick is excluded, unless you install a WAD with the defective WADManager.

Note: From Revision to Revision improved my project. The bugs, if they exist, are guaranteed fixed in the next revision. I hope you'll understand.

Kind regards, Schildkröt.

This looks rather interesting and something I may look into once a English version is released! How safe is it though and can you revert back to Wii SM easily?

As far as I know, it's just a .dol/.elf. So you can Autoboot it with Priiloader, for example, etc. It doesn't replace the menu on the NAND.

Mhm, dunno about this...still needs more tweaks, etc. I'll wait with my judgement xD. But would love to see these Graphics from an XBMC-Theme, they're far more gorgeous than the original Dashboard

*And yes, I know that this will never happen, sadly.

I haven't tried it, but from the folder structure above, I'm guessing this may just be a standalone DOL, and not actually replace Wii SM? And you'd need to use something like Priiloader to autoboot it to have it start at boot. Or else compile the Priiloader installer using this DOL instead of the Priiloader DOL.

Thanks guys that is good news. Maybe I will give the German release a go considering it's just a .dol file! Where can I get my hands on it! Nevermind...didnt see the link before...doh!

That message wasn't there when I started typing my reply. I then left my computer to do something and came back, and didn't think to check if anyone had replied.

this is a nice project, but there really is no new functionality in it from any other homebrew. until there is homebrew that can allow syncing wiimotes, editing settings such as the wifi connection settings, etc there will not be any good homebrew system menu replacement.

agreed. plus i tried it out and its real buggy. lots of code dumps and hangups.

Yeah its pretty limited atm! He really needs to add someway of accessing the homebrew channel so you can access all your apps and not be limited to his channels!
