Hacking WiiSCU v0.2

Alright um.... I went to use this. I hit the update the Wii Shop channel button, I installed it and everything. Now, it doesn't boot up xD.

Was there an IOS that was required so I can boot it?

So what I am asking, what IOS(s) do I install and on what setting (+Trucha. -Trucha)?

I have been searching for a tutorial for WiiSCU. All im finding is threads that go off topic or relate to other issues. So hopefully someone could help. I got the packages from wiibrew.org, extracted them and im not impressed with the readme. Also I seen on Wiibrew that there is download and source. Do I need source, I think that is for modifying the code?(please confirm) I want to use the shop channel to purchase the in internet channel that is my goal. You dont need to give me links just a detailed run down of what to install and in what order. Thanks in advance.
