You could always try:
http://rapidshare.com/files/205360017/Boot.dol

It's a test version for the Metroid Prime problem.

3 tests from different DVDs, here are some infos, if usefull for you :

PAL games on PAL Wii :

Loading Onechanbara : zimboes bikini slayers
IOS requested by the game : 33
Done fakesign
ES identity successful
Frezzes on loading

Loading Mario Power Tennis
IOS requested by the game : 33
Done fakesign
ES identity successful
Frezzes on loading

JAP game on PAL Wii :
Loading Deca Sporta
IOS requested by the game : 21
Done fakesign
ES identity successful
Frezzes on loading

My Wii is 3.2E, Do I need to modify IOS 33 ? and how ?
All these are working with SoftChip R82 on separate discs. Can it be a problem with the shrink ?
Did someone try, shrinken and not shrinken images of the same game ?

thank you

EDIT : a fourth one with the same results : PAL on PAL

Loading Family Party : 30 great games
IOS requested by the game : 33
Done fakesign
ES identity successful
Frezzes on loading

If you don't have a modchip then change the IOS to 249 in Softchip config

It's almost certainly a problem with the shrink as I tried Onechanbara this evening with the code I put on Rapidshare and it worked (and it really is an awful game
smile.gif
). It was on the disc on it's own and worked correctly. One thing I did notice is that the header of the disc is different to the header in the boot.bin with a '1' for what would seem to pass for 'audio streaming'.

It's something I can now check out at least.

The code I had on RS also shouldn't fakesign if set to a hardware mod (and thats a bug in that).

Would have replied earlier but this site is INCREDIBLY slow for me this evening.

Hello Dack,

I dont understand what you mean by "It was on the disc on it's own and worked correctly"
Do you mean on regular format on regular DVD (as backup 1:1) or on Shrinked format on a multiboot DVD ???
Because if work for me with 1:1 backup using Multiboot but not after shrinking and partitioning. With previous code and the one from rapishare.

Bye

great work on bringing these features to us all..

has anyone gotten links crossbow NTSC working? i also ran into a problem with this game today while trying out my first multi.. freezes at loading screen.

also, any ETA for updates such as changing the title and maybe disc id?

(alternatively- is there any separate program that will change the title of an iso?)

hi wiijt
i try the method from china website to rebuild the links crossbow partition then inport as unencrypted. it worked for me.
1) open iso file by WiiScrubber 1.4
2) expand the data partition
3) extract those files: partition.bin, boot.bin, bi2.bin, apploader.img, main.dol
4) extract the files from data partion with "unencrypted partidtion" option
5) build the partition by Partition Builder 1.1
6) import the unencrypted partition to multigame disc
done
from here: http://bbs.wiibbs.com/read.php?tid=35485

thanks for the tip samymma, however i just tried this and my result is that when i import the partition it says for example Partition: 0 - DATA (0) (BAD).. the (BAD) being the problem. did you do this with NTSC or PAL version?

You did import as unencrypted did you? And use the 1.1 version of partition builder - failing that try http://rapidshare.com/files/204293888/part...der12-test2.rar

To change the disc title you can just use a binary editor and change the bytes at the start of the ISO e.g. HeXD.

To change the game name it's as easy as extracting the boot.bin file from the partition and then hex editing that before replacing it in the ISO using WScrubber.

Game name starts at byte 0x20 in both cases.

As to the ETA of a newer version - As and when it's ready

I used partition builder 1.1 to rebuild unencrypted partition of the game "Offshore Tycoon", however it was black screen after loading along with oter two games worked just fine in the same disc. I will try it by partition builder 1.2 again and report the result.

BTW, when I used wiiscrubber1.4 to extract the data partition of the game "Yatterman wii(JPN Version)" as an unencrypted partition, the program terminated by itself and can't finish the work.

Again, thanks for you work to make multigame disc perfect.

You could also try http://rapidshare.com/files/207320010/SoftChip.dol - it's a slightly updated version of the loader I've been playing with. You'll need to rename it to boot.dol before overwriting the original version.

As to the extract of an unencrypted partition - did you do this on a 'virgin' ISO i.e. on that had not been shrunk or anything?

Thanks, Dack.

It's 1:1 backup iso. However, I used WiiFrii to change the region and language from NTSCJ to NTSCU and Japanese to English. Would that be the reason?

One more question. What does the function "Data Alignment" do in partitionbuilder1.2?

Update -- got Links Crossbow NTSC working.

I did the "normal" method (as outlined in the FAQ distributed with the program) but instead of saving it as a crypted partition I saved it as unencrypted partition and that did the trick. The rest of the games on the multi were all saved as crypted with no problem.

Did not need to use the partition builder program at all.

Can anyone shed some light as to why when I trim any iso my wii with flatmii and 3.4e refuses to load any games? The full size isos continue to work but the smaller ones error out!! Please help as it would be awesome to save a shedload of room on my pc hdd

3.4 firmware is the problem?

Create a compressed folder and put the scrubbed files in there instead. They still work on 3.4.

Do you mean extract the files from the scrubbed iso and pop them all into a compressed folder?

Ive tried to put the scrubbed iso into a compressed folder and the flatmii app will load it but the wii wont see it

I used the 'virgin' ISO and retried, still got the same error. Any idea?

Thanks.
