Gaming Wii's disk slot makes a weird noise. Is that normal?

So, every time click the eject button, the disk slot makes a cracking noise. Does that mean it's breaking or something? I just wanna make sure before buying a new one.

Did you use GAMECUBE Games ?
Do you have children ? EDIT ok sorry reading your profile you are 15.
Has someone other access to your Wii ?
Did you accidentally maybe put an SECOND Disc in ?

Well it's just me that still plays it sometimes. But it is the same Wii that I had since young childhood.

My Wii had this noise and I never had a problem.

If it ever does break you can replace it for $20 at your local Goodwill, but you'll probably run into another Wii problem before that ever stops you.
