Hacking WiiKey SD Card Adapter without modchip

My Wii's SD card slot does not work, so I can't softmod it.

So, I was searching and came across to this the

Wiikey SD Card Adapter

So my question is

Can I used it without the wiikey?

So, if you dont need the wiikey, I could use it as a normal SD Card slot, and softmod my wii in that way?

Are you trying to use SD-Boot? If you are u can buy one from dealextreme for like 5 or 6 dollars cheaper. So yes u can use without wiikey

I have a few questions

Also, I dont know if this helps but my Wii is in 4.3 and IS NOT Softmodded and I don't have the Wiikey?


1-So I can use at as if it would be my Wii's SD Card Slot and softmod it normally?

2-And, can I use SD Boot without modchip or softmod?

3-Can I run Wii Homebrew from SD Boot?

1. Get 2 SD cards. 1 for wii and one for sd-boot. Follow a wii softmod guide. (Cant link to one atm)

2. you need a modchip or a way to run homebrew on your wii.

3. im not sure. i know you can run gamecube homebrew

you need 2 diffrent SD cards for SD-boot. One to softmod the wii and load gamecube homebrew then one to actually have in the gamecube memory card

You need a copy of Supersmash bros Brawl to mod your wii.

I know how to softmod wiis , but the problem is my Wii's SD Card Slot doesnt work

So, What I want to know is if I can softmod my wii through the SD Slot on the Wiikey SD Adapter.

So, if I could use the Wiikey SD adapter as my wii's normal SD Slot and softmod that way.

So, if that is not possible

Can I use SD Boot without my Wii being softmodded or having a modchip.
