Hacking WiiKey and Online ?

Hello Probably a newbish question bt here goes;

I have a wiikey installed and I haven't done anything but play games on it. I wanted to wander online and get the browser before I have to pay for it and wondered if they can see my WiiKey? do I risk getting banned or found out? I guess it came with 1.1 firmware but thats just a guess. Haven't messed with any configuration CDs (DVD?) yet.

Any help or tips appreciated.

as far as i recall the wiikey is a dvd drive mod..so the wii itself cant see the chip =^D ....i just ordered mine two days ago...can't wait for it to get here

Its a drive chip so it cant be detected. As far as i know.

remember the 360 drivemod chips? yes, a drivemod can be detected, so be careful!

Lessons learned form the 360.

So I guess at this point no one is getting banned and all is well for now... Hmm I guess if Nintendo wanted to they could also DO something about all the flashed DSs out there that happen to wander online.

Can the WiiKey be turned off to wander online?

i wouldnt advise wireing a switch unless youve had some moderate source o experience. as the others said dont even worry a bout it just enjoy the stuff u can do with it lol
