Hacking Wiikey 1.9g problem

Okay
I know this question has been asked probably a million times
and theres probably a million threads on it
so please dont flame me


but
i recently upgraded my wiikey to 1.9g
and it stopped running alot of my games

is there a fix to it?
cuz i rly want to play brawl....

btw
i have a NTSC Wii

Just burn the Config Disk 1.3 and re-enable Region Free again

Remember that Brawl can be played on a Wiikey only as a backup.

but it can't read the config disk for 1.2 OR 1.3 T_T

It seems that SSBB showed the true nature of 1.9g for a lot of people...

I had the same problem..

you should probably have the same sympthoms... the solution is easy..
althought getting brawl to work will be a little complicated than that...

but the only thing is that im afraid that it'll somehow brick my wii
since i'm not sure if i have the original wiikey or cloned wiikey
is there any way to check?

well... the recovery disc will not brick your wii..
brick could only happend with different region firmware updates...

if you want to know what wiikey you've got you could take the wii apart and just look...

but i dont think you wanna know that much

try the recovery disc method and never upgrade to 1.9g again... that's my advice..

no.
the recovery disc is only for the MODCHIP...
has nothing to do with the wii itself...

in your current state your wii isnt running anything anyway...
as i see it, its caused by a bad mix of wiikey1.9g, 3.2 firmware and ssbb... maybe add some power cut-offs to the mix...

so basicaly, now you're drive is fucked up, cause the wiikey is going bananas...
the recovery disc will return it to 1.9b which is a stable working version and not the buggy 1.9g hotfix.

listen man, you do whatever you want..

u might just aswell buy a new wiikey, that'll work too...
it solved the same problem for me, i think its worth a shot...
