If you download the latest 2.0 Wiiflow from the wiiflow google code page, then the updated fully compatible themes Carbonik, Violet, Green, and Starnight are included in that download.

Is there a way to modify the default skin?

I really would like to use it but with some slight changes I would do myself... Are the files maybe down loadable somewhere (like a conventional theme)?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have made a mod of Benjay's Orchid theme. I call it 8-Bit Playground. It comes with a matching forwarder and background music. This theme is meant to simulate an arcade feeling but still present a clean and classy interface. Please read the readme file included in the archive. Thanks to everyone who helped make this theme possible.

Looking for updated Wiiflow themes? Well look no further. Here are five of the old Wiiflow 2.2 themes updated to 3.0. These will work with Wiiflow r418 (and maybe even below) but some things will be off a lttle like small page title text and wrong button text colors. They will look best with Wiiflow Mod by Fix94 and OverJoy.

Credit goes to the original authors. I've basically just added homebrew and dml icons to the main page and flags to Wiiflow Mod cover download settings page and a few other minor changes.

Carbonik by Benjay - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?lfre93wju5bd6tz

Violet by Benjay - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3aw6mb9dt5a2n6y

Starnight by Jiiwah - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ys01qqbahe2o1dd

Orchid by Benjay/Jiiwah - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gzg5fit4c8ke10s

8-Bit Playground by Jsugarsmacks - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?9rlolrp6bzoz3cg

I plan on updating the rest soon. For now enjoy these! :)

# Theme Name : ANDRO!D Theme
# WiiFlow Version : For WiiFlow r418+
# Created by : pepxl
# Date Released : 8/3/12
# Version : v1 Initial Release
#
# Notes:

# 1. If popping or scratch sounds occur during Hover, Click or Scroll
# then remove all references to *.wav.
# 2. This is an first initial release so some elements maybe missing or incompete,
# if so hit me up on Temp or #wiiflow-mod and i'll do my best to fix it.

I done this theme and others out of fun and simply because i didn't really like any other themes apart from Carbonik, so if you don't like it.... don't use it... simple lol

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
