I never used v5.4.9did they work with v5.4.9?
is wiiflow on SD or USB HDD?
are your games on SD or USB HDD?
are you using a USB stick or pen drive?
I assume you are talking about Wii games right?
do they work with USB Loader gx?
Are you sure you installed everything in apps/wiiflow .... including the new .bin files?
are your wii games in .wbfs format in a dev:/wbfs folder?
Is your dirve formatted to FAT or NTFS or what?

can you send a link for wiiflow v5.4.9?well try v5.4.9
there's another user that claims his games on SD don't work with v5.5.0 but they do with v5.4.9.
although i tested v5.5.0 and games on SD work fine for me just so long as i don't use emu nand game saves on SD.
if v5.4.9 works then I'm dumb founded as to why v5.5.0 doesn't. I made some changes to wii game booter but have no idea why it would effect SD games.
Its under Releases just like v5.5.0 you just have to scroll down but here - https://github.com/Fledge68/WiiFlow_Lite/releases/download/v5.4.9/wiiflow_v5.4.9.zipcan you send a link for wiiflow v5.4.9?
it doesn't seem to workIts under Releases just like v5.5.0 you just have to scroll down but here - https://github.com/Fledge68/WiiFlow_Lite/releases/download/v5.4.9/wiiflow_v5.4.9.zip
let me know if it works.
Here's mineBoth of you guys having issues please post a syscheck.
I hate to hear about a father being disappointed that he can't get his kids wii mods/present done in time for Xmas. If you post a syscheck we can get you on the right path. The wii modding process doesn't take long, there's still hope you can still pull it off in time!
You may also want to use ModMii to make sure your softmods are up to date. When you post your syscheck log we'll be able to help you with that, or you could just drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will generate a custom guide for you to follow. Or just resoftmod as if it was the first time using it's main wizard, it will overwrite anything else that you've done. The main wizard also includes the usb loader setup procedure. If you go through its syscheck updater wizard, you may also want to run the dedicated USB loader setup wizard as well so u get help with both the softmod and USB loader setup procedures.

did you ever see a white progress bar at the bottom of the screen? with either version?it doesn't seem to work
Edit: since this didn't work I tried USBloader gx and it didn't load the game but instead put me back in the homebrew channel menu
apparently he is only using a SD card. You're missing bootmii (and probably a nand backup as well) and priiloader, but neither of these should be related to your current problem.
Could be an incompatible hdd or something. Have you tried other usbloaders to rule out whether it's a even Wiiflow specific issue, I kind of doubt that it is
Edit: left over data from a much older Wiiflow installation could also be interfering, maybe try with total clean slate
should i try getting the bootmii and priiloader? i don't HDD but have tried usbloader gx and that didn't work. i think It might be a problem with the wii not necessarily wiiflow. You're missing bootmii (and probably a nand backup as well) and priiloader, but neither of these should be related to your current problem.

Yes, bootmii and priiloader and a nand backup are essential for brick protection. As I said it won't solve this issue, but it's still important. If you drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do. You're missing bootmii and your cios in slot 251 is v10 beta 53, when normally we suggest v10 beta 52. These are unlikely related to any issues you are having. Here is mine. I seem to get some of the n64 and snes games but still won't update the cover. I either have the platform.ini wrong or the source_menu? I have no idea.
Anyway, here is my report...

I never saw the white progress bar. I used to use v4.5.9 (i think) then it seemed to stop working when I tried to install a cios. I do have all three bin files. yes, I deleted the old app folder and installed the new one.did you ever see a white progress bar at the bottom of the screen? with either version?
do you have a apps/wiiflow/bins folder with three bin files in it?
when you switched to version 5.4.9 did you use the bin files that came with it?
