did they work with v5.4.9?
is wiiflow on SD or USB HDD?
are your games on SD or USB HDD?
are you using a USB stick or pen drive?
I assume you are talking about Wii games right?
do they work with USB Loader gx?
Are you sure you installed everything in apps/wiiflow .... including the new .bin files?
are your wii games in .wbfs format in a dev:/wbfs folder?
Is your dirve formatted to FAT or NTFS or what?

well try v5.4.9
there's another user that claims his games on SD don't work with v5.5.0 but they do with v5.4.9.
although i tested v5.5.0 and games on SD work fine for me just so long as i don't use emu nand game saves on SD.

if v5.4.9 works then I'm dumb founded as to why v5.5.0 doesn't. I made some changes to wii game booter but have no idea why it would effect SD games.

I'm in the same situation as him. I have been stressing over practically the only Christmas present I can afford for my kids, this year. It looks like I am not going to have it ready for Christmas and I'm beaten down because of it. I have seriously been working on this for longer than a month and keep getting stuck. I installed 5.5 and I keep getting the DSI Fail error, especially on Nintendont but also on anything related to updating settings in wiiflow. I am trying to install your version to work with Rhapsody Shima, whlie also the theme of Biggz Sizzle. But at this point, I just want to have something. I'd seriously pay something to help me with this (if that isn't against rules to say).

Both of you guys having issues please post a syscheck.

I hate to hear about a father being disappointed that he can't get his kids wii mods/present done in time for Xmas. If you post a syscheck we can get you on the right path. The wii modding process doesn't take long, there's still hope you can still pull it off in time!

You may also want to use ModMii to make sure your softmods are up to date. When you post your syscheck log we'll be able to help you with that, or you could just drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will generate a custom guide for you to follow. Or just resoftmod as if it was the first time using it's main wizard, it will overwrite anything else that you've done. The main wizard also includes the usb loader setup procedure. If you go through its syscheck updater wizard, you may also want to run the dedicated USB loader setup wizard as well so u get help with both the softmod and USB loader setup procedures.

it doesn't seem to work
Edit: since this didn't work I tried USBloader gx and it didn't load the game but instead put me back in the homebrew channel menu
did you ever see a white progress bar at the bottom of the screen? with either version?
do you have a apps/wiiflow/bins folder with three bin files in it?
when you switched to version 5.4.9 did you use the bin files that came with it?

You're missing bootmii (and probably a nand backup as well) and priiloader, but neither of these should be related to your current problem.

Could be an incompatible hdd or something. Have you tried other usbloaders to rule out whether it's a even Wiiflow specific issue, I kind of doubt that it is

Edit: left over data from a much older Wiiflow installation could also be interfering, maybe try with total clean slate

should i try getting the bootmii and priiloader? i don't HDD but have tried usbloader gx and that didn't work. i think It might be a problem with the wii not necessarily wiiflow.

Here is mine. I seem to get some of the n64 and snes games but still won't update the cover. I either have the platform.ini wrong or the source_menu? I have no idea.

Yes, bootmii and priiloader and a nand backup are essential for brick protection. As I said it won't solve this issue, but it's still important. If you drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do. Modmii.github.io

You're missing bootmii and your cios in slot 251 is v10 beta 53, when normally we suggest v10 beta 52. These are unlikely related to any issues you are having.

Personally I use dedicated emulator apps for each unique console. Fceugx for nes games, snes9x for super Nintendo games, etc.

Try this. Grab modmii, run its usbloader set up wizard, and tell it to install all 3 usb loaders, so you can try each in case one doesn't work. Then from modmii classic's download page 2, download the (j)ust for fun apps, so it will load your sd card with a few common emulators and apps like WiiMC to play videos, etc.

This should be straight forward enough, and barring any kind of hardware compatibility issues, it should get you sorted out in time for Xmas. Then you can fine-tune your other issues with Wiiflow and themes etc when you have more time after the big day.

If this helped and you're feeling generous, ModMii donations (while rare these days) are still welcome :)

I never saw the white progress bar. I used to use v4.5.9 (i think) then it seemed to stop working when I tried to install a cios. I do have all three bin files. yes, I deleted the old app folder and installed the new one.

I definitely appreciate your help! Yes, its weird because I do have BootMii obviously on file or I wouldn't be able to do much, right? I see it and I've used it. It just doesn't show up in there. Also, I have no idea how I got that 251/beta 53. Odd. I will try everything you have said. Thank you very much for helping out in such short notice.

P.S. ~ I changed my source menu pngs and now I don't know how to set them back up as previously setup with other pngs. In f act, I don't even see where those pngs I put in are on the sd card. I am thinking I will need to reinstall the theme but there's gotta be a way to just update the cfg files. I have done that and have them directing somewhere, I just don't know where.

I think you are confusing bootmii with the homebrew channel. Both are installed by the hackmii installer, but I see from your syscheck that your ios254 is a stub, instead of bootmii.

I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say source menu pings. Honestly I wouldn't worry about themes for now, that's just cosmetic, first make sure your mods are functional before making them aesthetic
