ok gonna be a dumb question but where dose the database go for the cheats. when installed as a cia thers no file marked cheats. could use some assitance
 
Im curious if anyone have tried add borders , Thumbnails and the covers image like on SNES9X for 3DS?? It would be great for more addition to make it look good.

Idk if anyone's still interested in playing NES on 3DS, but I forked Bubble2k16's VirtuaNES and have been using Claude Code to make gradual updates to it. Not much at the moment, but I'm hoping to add more down the line.

Hello Yes I am still usiing it. I was hoping one day somebody take over and update the virtuanes. I would like to see screenshot or cover while scrolling select the games.

Since I'm not a traditional coder, it'll have to be what Claude Opus is capable of. screenshot and cover sounds like an undertaking (though it could be user-defined), so we'll see how that goes.

My main priority is adding more mappers so more NES bootlegs and even VT03 games can run.

sound interesting but is claude opus part of AI what I read? look forward to your new work
 
@FanNintendo sorry for the delay, check now. it supports both box art and screenshot preview, though Famicom cover dimensions are not yet supported, i don't think.

I mean I can always add support for 150x200px covers if you'd like?

wait, 150x200px is already supported (for NES). anyway, latest update now supports Famicom and FDS.

@FanNintendo Okay, I owe you an apology (and thats why i deleted the v1.03 release above briefly). Turns out when i compiled the .cia it would not boot the games at first, then get stuck when trying to exit. After some trial and error on my 3DS myself, they've finally been fixed.

Tested and Im confused your post in github says that boxart and Snaps will show on top Left and Right. it not showing the Boxart are in 150x200 also virtualNes.png not showing on top screen or bottom. when I open VirtuaNes I have to go every folder to select roms folder. Is game screen supposely be on top or bottom because im seeing on top
