Things to try.

1. rename gameconfig2.ini to back it up and have wfl create a new one.
2. delete or rename dev:/wiiflow/cache/lists folder to make wfl create a new one with new lists.
3. go to main settings>startup settings and try changing force cios on or off.
4. select a game and go to game settings and change the IOS to 250 or 251.
5. depending on the region of your console or games you may need to change your video mode per game.
Very dumb from me...
I attached the HDD on the Front USB Ports....
On the Back Ports, everything is working fine with 249....sorry for my Dumbness....

v5.5.3 beta 2 - https://www.mediafire.com/file/qkowwfed7di5l9n/wiiflow_lite_20a307e.zip/file

changes:
- disable splash image and wait animation if direct launching a wii game (for example using wiiGSC).
- added option to use 'nands' not 'vwiinands' when on wii u. no menu option. you must manually edit wiiflow_lite.ini by changing [CHANNELS] use_vwiinands=no.
- fixed using hermes cios in the rare case you ever need to use it. (i.e. for a Just Dance mod that requires it.)

I have this issue where WiiFlow just ignores (?) the Emunand.
I created one with ShowMiiWads.
I also created one with the in-app tool for a second try.

I installed DLC to the Nand.
But they don't show up in the game.

If I use the SAME nands in CFG Usb Loader, the DLC do show up.
So WiiFlow seems to ignore my NAND or something like that.
My NAND is on SD, and the setting are set to that too.
I get no errors or anything but the DLC just doesn't show up/the NAND isn't being loaded although it's set to do so.
Maybe anyone could help.

in wiiflow_lite.ini under [DEBUG] set sd_write_log=yes.
run wfl and try to launch a emunand game.
remove the sd card from wii and put in pc.
on root you should find wiiflow.log
copy all of it and paste it here for me to see.
also you can then delete wiiflow.log and set sd_write_log=no

my first logical guess is you have nand emulation set to PARTIAL. try setting it to FULL.

Weird, now it reboots the Wii everytime I try to start a game with emunand. :o Here the log right until it restarts.

first thing i noticed is d2x v7. i believe you need v8 or v10 for emunand emulation. you should maybe post a syscheck and ask @XFlak for any help updating your cIOS.

unfortunately the log file didn't tell me if nand emulation was FULL or PARTIAL. (my bad). but it does say emunand is located at sd:/nands/default

I noticed you launched a WII game. and the log stopped right before nand emulation is set with d2x cios. I really think you need to instal d2x cios v8 or v10 beta52.

I set it to full like you said beforehand. And in install in which slot? :)
Found d2x base 37 in slot 248
Found d2x base 58 in slot 249
Found d2x base 57 in slot 250

these are fine just reinstall the same but with v8 or v10.

by the way is your emunand located at sd:/nands/default?

Okay will do so. Yes it is located there^^ I created this one in-app

EDIT: Still crashing with v8

Create a new emunand and add your games and dlc to it. Must be something wrong with current emunand.

Made a new emuand with the in-app tool. Console still restarts :/
if you use an emunad for all loaders you have to select the same nand in the loader setup
if you create the nand with the loaders
Wiiflow create folder: default
usb loadergx create folder: 01
configurable usb create folder: nand

So THAT'S why it wouldn't work with any loader. That's such a shame, but I don't want to use an external hard drive on the back of my Wii ): IT's just so convinient having everything on the SD card.

Looking at the year we have, I doubt there will ever be a fix for it.

My only alternative would be to have the DLC on the SD Card and boot the game normally through WiiFlow with my real nand. But once I boot a game from my SD Card through WiiFlow, the Wii acts like there is no SD Card inserted. Is that also a known technical limit?

I'm not certain it will work, but u could try launching sneek+di, and insert the game into the emulated disk channel. Be sure to enable the sneek sd access option (in Modmii's options if using modmii to install sneek, or the actual sneek installer if using that manually). Double check you have a recent SD backup, because sd access when running sneek (not uneek) has potential to corrupt the sd card

Thanks for that suggestion. Setting up Sneek would be my very last option because I just know loading times won't benefit from it.

Before doing that I would really just like to rule out the problem above, if Wiiflow can read games and DLC from the SD card at the same time.

I think your only alternative is install the DLC on your real nand. i assume its quite big and you don't want to do that.

So you confirm that, when you boot a game from the SD Card, you cannot access that SD Card while being in-game? It's not just an issue on my end?

Yeah sadly the DLC take up too much space together with my other channels.

Btw thank you so much for all the help.

i'm assuming in game there is a menu to access the DLC but it assumes the DLC is in the nand.

what should work:
wii game on SD and DLC on real nand
wii game on SD and emunand with DLC on USB
wii game on USB and emunand with DLC on SD or USB
wii game on USB or SD and neek+di or neek2o+di nand with DLC on SD or USB

what doesn't is:
wii game on SD and emunand with DLC on SD.

but i could be wrong. somebody might know something i don't.

Yes I'm talking about real nand now.

The game in question supports both, DLC from Nand and from SD Card.

When booting the game in question from the SD Card, then the SD card collum is grayed out and it tells me: "No SD card inserted."

Similiar behavior I have in Animal Crossing City Folk, where it tells me it can't take a screenshot because there is no SD card in the slot. (But there is! I'm booting the game from it!)
