Hey @fledge68 the new GX Plugins you made work flawlessly :)
Also, I noticed the banners for Emunand channels display fine but RealNand channels set to Custom don't display the banners. Is there a way I can enable the RealNand banners to display (or maybe disable EmuNand banners)?

Ye, that one :)

Sure man no problem. @fledge68 can you provide a .dol file of your WiiFlow Lite vWii Forwarder so I can make a WiiVC forwarder for WiiU for the homies? I tried extracting the .dol from your vWii forwarder but the extracted .dol crashes @TeconMoon s app for some reason :S
Also, here's a new splash screen logo in blue if you want to add it to your next release. (I made the other one purple but the WiiFlow Lite loading animation is blue so might as well make them in matching blue color :) )

thats interesting. i did not know that. no there's no disabling or enabling banners. mine show but could be because they are cached.
so once again wiiflow (lite) isn't as stable as i thought. with real nand channels not booting and banners not showing and the song title display only shows for a split second if your lucky instead of the 3 seconds it should. i tried getting real nand channels to boot and I did get them to boot but then they froze once they tried to initialize usb. makes me want to scream sometimes.

as for the dol file ... i thought i provided one to you when we were chatting about wiidrc testing. and i'm pretty sure i just used the wii forwarder dol (not vwii).
thanks for the splash screen. i kinda like the purple one.

Hahaha don't crack now, you've done amazing bro. I've always used USB only for GameCube and Wii games, everything else on SD. I find the emulators and homebrew etc load much snappier from SD than USB. I've got a fresh new install of everything you guys have made and it's by far the best WiiFlow has been since the beginning :) All my RealNand games load fine, the banners thing isn't the end of the world. I'm going to try to cache the banners with UsbloaderGX and copy them to WiiFlow now and I'll see if they pop up, I'll let you know soon. Other than that everything seems dreamy. I've got Atari, Mame, CPS1 and CPS2 added to my setup now and the new Rhapsodii theme is awesome to bring it all together.
I like purple better too but the loading animation is blue so I didn't know if you wanted it :)

Just copied the banner .bnr files from the USBloaderGX bnr_cache folder to WiiFlow Lite and all banners load now for both RealNand and EmuNand :)

it just frustrates me when the code is fine and used to work and now suddenly it decides to stop working or work all out of whack even though i haven't even touched that part of the code.
for example. the song title display worked fine back in r1150 but even though i never touched the little bit of code for it suddenly now it stops displaying or only displays for a split second instead of 3 seconds.

i looked at the code for booting real nand channels and compared it to usbloader gx and even though the code is written slightly different it basically does the same thing. so why does it work in usbloader gx but not in wiiflow lite?

that's what aggravates me. grrrrrrr.

OMG WiiFlow was SO much buggier before you so kindly created WiiFlow Lite for us. @Cyan have any input on the matter? Help this man before devkit does away with his soul!

I didn't write or looked at any part of the banner player.
I wish I could help, but I can barely work on USBLoaderGX myself. I thought I'd work on it more this month, but didn't.
Fledge is probably better placed than me to find the issue, he has the code "fresh" in his mind, he read it recently. I'd have to get used to it and re-read a lot of the sources if I want to be helpful and do anything properly.

Sounds like you maybe aren't using the correct version of WiiFlow Lite. Are you launching WiiFlow Lite from the vWii menu or from a WiiU WiiVC custom created channel?

are you using vwii?
Iam Using Vwii over WII U. (Bootimg from Wii Homebrew Launcher)
Using R1161.
When I boot with the WII U Forwarder Channel of wiiflow Lite I cant start the Game. Got the Error: Cant Launch in Wii Virtual Console Mode " So I cant try it through the forwarder

yes you can't launch wii games when in wii virtual console mode which is when you use the wii u forwarder channel.

so you launch wiiflow lite in vwii via the HBC (HomeBrew Channel).
i bet you don't have the wiiflow lite forwarder channel installed on vwii. which means when you exit the game to return to wiiflow lite it can't find the wiiflow lite forwarder channel and just freezes causing you to have to unplug the wii u (btw i hate that ... i can't believe nintendo didn't include a way to reset the wii u if it froze like that)

anyway, you need to install the wiiflow lite forwarder channel for vwii found here - https://github.com/Fledge68/WiiFlow_Lite/releases
download the wfl forwarders.zip and install the vwii wad.

afterwards launch wiiflow lite and go into main settings and make sure the return to option is set to wiiflow lite. and everything should work.

no. only wii emulaters or other homebrew apps. i believe someone would have to edit d2x cios to add wii u pro controls to a wii game. if thats even possible.

fyi the defaults of the wiiflow save are to use ios58 and not force cios. so when launching a wii or nand game it needs to switch from ios58 to load the cios (usually 249) which involves unmounting and remounting the usb hdd. a lot of users including myself have freezes loading games with this setup (something to do with the usb hdd unmounting and not mounting after the switch to cios). so i and the others goto startup settings and set force cios on and the cios to 249. this skips the unmounting and remounting of the usb hdd.

Hey, been away a while, but I've meaning to get to the bottom of my loader issues. I took your advice and changed the settings, it seemed to work so I thought it was fixed. But then the problem came back. Again, other games and apps load fine, but wbfs titles, in particular Mario Kart, freezes up the Wii before the loading graphic appears on the bottom (white line that scrolls from left to right).

I did notice something interesting, however: If I go into something and then exit back to WiiFlow Lite (for example, play a SNES title or watch a video on WiiMC), then upon returning to the loader, Mario Kart loads up fine if selected. If I try to access it upon initial boot, however, that's where I run into issues. I'm wondering, is something happening right after boot that would keep certain resources from being "ready"?
I've actually noticed a few times that the controllers wouldn't connect right away after boot if my kids pressed them too fast after booting up. I'm booting straight into it from Priiloader, if that makes a difference. If they wait until the loading screen finishes, and THEN press a button to connect, it works fine. If they try to connect too early though, sometimes it won't connect after that. None of the controllers will, so we have to turn it off and back on again. It doesn't happen often enough that I'm concerned about it being a major bug, but perhaps it is related to the wbfs loading issues?
