if your pc and wii have static ip on your wifi it's easy, you have to configure your router.

me too, I have buy a license since Total Commander 1.1 (was Windows Commander then) and never stop to use it. Ghisler is the best!

I got to get an SSD but I will test the beta release (at some point) to see if GC is working. My HDD is pretty tired iirc an old dead sata2 laptop drive. Right now I have 541 with custom no theme on it. Pretty sure it's a Wii from release year as well.

Just now I replace my old 500 gb maxtor hard drive on a cheap aluminum enclosure by a doctor Frankenstein's hard drive:. A 340 Kingston SSD On a toshiba canvio enclosure.

Now all works better

I do use wiiflow lite 5.5.4 with rapsody theme and cIOS 249 base 57 d2x v10 b52.

yep, that's why I want to change the "cheap" generic enclosure.

FWIW, I've had zero serious issues once I stopped using USB powered enclosures, and switched to a Vantec AC adapter powered enclosure.

I have in fact found minor compatibility issues regarding drives, using the exact same enclosure. It usually has to do with drive sleep/wake behaviour, and the drive not properly waking on boot. Once the drive is awake, they all seem to work the same for me.

I'm still getting "syntax error" from autobooting with wiituka in the Build 2 of WFL 5.5.4. From my vantage point, it looks like all the autoboot commands are getting correupted in similar ways. that one's for 007 Live and Let Die i think.

- added a fix for Amstrad wiituka plugin. sets the date to Aug 16, 2022 before launching wiituka with game. (at least it works for me, hopefully for everyone)

Well, I'm wondering if we could recompile wiituka with the current devKitPro and would this fix the bug?

I bet most likely but good luck fixing everything and getting it to compile. for now this date patch works just fine.

@chrondelta is it just those games or all wiituka games? have you tried getting those games from another source ... the ones you have might be corrupt.

@RunningSnakes have you had the same issue as chrondelta? do those games work for you?

It seems to be most Wiituka games. I don't think they're corrupt because I think it all works perfectly fine on 5.4.9. It seems like on 5.5 and above it recognizes and tries to do the autoboot commands but the text for the commands gets corrupted somehow. I've seen A become Q a bunch. Space becomes 2. I'm sure i could identify more patterns if i looked even harder but i'm not sure how that would help. Obviously not every letter becomes corrupted.

Edit: "All" being the random handful of games i test.

Hello I have been having problems with wiiflow in the vwii of my wii u, I made a new thread about it, but now I'm not sure if it'd be better to post my problem here, but I'll post it here anyways just in case I should have posted it here instead, I'll just copy and paste what I already have.

So I've been using wiiflow lite for quite some time for my wii u in the vwii mode, I use it from a SD card and yes it's in fat 32, it was working perfectly last week until today when I tried to play some wii games but after trying to start a game wiiflow closes and goes back to the homebrew launcher, I didn't do anything to my sd card or the nand of my console besides adding new games and research about making an emunand, but I didn't really did anything yet so I don't think that's the problem, I did a syscheck so I hope that helps, it's in spanish so I hope it still works, I don't know how to change the syscheck language, but a quick translation can do the job I guess, I tried using different ios on the config menu but none of them work.

Thank you for testing.

With Amstrad, it is really difficult to get true results of compatibility. There are so many junk roms floating around, none of us are testing the same rom dumps in most cases.

I do not want to revert to 5.4.9, I want to be current so i can give back current results. And the very reason fledge continues to work on this.

I feel using old revisions to test is important, but not helping the objective goal.

To be honest, i could care less about Wiituka, with all the problems it has. RA cap32 autoboots CPC, or you can use cap32 to play the converted CPC roms.

Wiituka is a mess of an emulator plugin that maybe should be removed.
