Hacking WiiFlow Boot Animation Competition!

Over 1000 people download wiiflow every week from my google code and about 20 vote here, notice something? Also I never actually said I'll add that to wiiflow, you know, memory corruption and shit like this currently...

I understand that Fix94 is doing great things with Wiiflow and that we should be greatful for what we are given. He believes that there are more important things to worry about than a (at longest, 15 second) boot animation. And while I agree, I suggest that it be made customizable, as it once was. That way we can avoid this unnecessary drama, everyone gets what they want without having to compile it from source just to change it.

@AbdallahTerro, How would you feel about in the mean time, posting a link to a modified wiiflow with the most popular boot animation *cough*spayrosam*cough* until a peacable agreement has been reached?

Much appreciated. But I was thinking more along the lines of an always updated link for everyone. Obviously not for every beta that comes to be,but maybe for offical releases and when significant changes are made. Not sure if you'd want to do that for the top four boot animations all the time. But then again maybe its not a big deal for you and you'd be happy to provide this small service for everyone.

Instead of giving everyone a fish I gave you the rod; just use the tutorial guys.
Once you have 10 jpgs and one video.cpp you can build any version with your favorite logo.

Chaps and Chappessessess' - the 'peaceable agreement' is broadly this:

Devs will use whatever their gosh-darn preference is on the main WiiFlow release (currently this is a mod of JJ Kwik's submission (thanks JJ!)). The Rt. Rev. Fix is happy to use THE TOP 4 results from the poll in his own wiilfow releases (legend!).
Hopefully this will provide a broader feedback - your common-or-garden user can see the animations actually in place, in use, on their TV - and without the need to compile from source.
I'm working long hours this week - although i can't sleep due to ludicrous weather shenanigans - so I'll kick off the poll Saturday. Hope that's both cool and the gang.

Not quite sure. I think it was back in the 2.2 days, because I distinctively remember the orchid theme having it's own wait pngs. If someone would like to take a look at some ancient revs, you might be able to find it.

Nope. "official" boot animation is just chosen by the Dev team. "Fix94" beta releases will use the top 4 polling results over the next few weeks. By the time the poll's finished, all will have become clear.
