Hacking Wiiflow black screen

I'm playing my wbfs games from SD with WiiFlow 4.2.1 and all works great.

However, if I start WiiFlow without any usb device connected i got 2 black screens for about 20 seconds.
The first comes right after starting wiflow. The second one before the game starts.

If I start WiiFlow with an (empty) usb stick connected there is no black screen.
Seems there is a timeout it waits for usb device to get ready.

Is there any way to skip usb detection?

not yet, but I really wanna find a way to automatically detect if there is some actual usb device in the slot too cause that 20 seconds timeout is not the best solution...

Thanks for your reply FIX94. It's good to hear that someone is working on it.
Would it be possible to add an ini/cfg file option to specific the timeout?
