I I have a 3TB Seagate with advanced formatting and it launches games with r1068 maybe it's a 4TB capacity issue? It's not my Wii HDD it's my all around backup drive so it's formatted NTFS I believe but I used it for a quick test and sure enough it's launching games with WiiFlow and all files on USB only.

I have it as a single FAT32 partition so maybe it's a combination of things.

Someone give this one a try. The options are set in the plugin INI file so you'll have to use one of these instead of the included ones in order to set direct button mapping

anyone who tries, let me know.
could someone with a non-gamecube controller give this a test and let me know if the button mappings are fixed? Thanks.

EDIT : new fixed one

test with this DOL and the above INI files.

so, after working for quite a few hours now on wiiflow (3:41am as I write that heh) I just finished video playback behaving like banners for r1062:
http://fix94.no-ip.org/wf_revs/boot_r1062.7z
My log message in case you missed it:
-thp videos now behave very similar to banners using a new drawing system (not fully tested, may not work correctly)
-you can use thp videos for plugins, just use the same name system like covers (the whole game name with extension for both thp and ogg), if wiiflow finds such a video it'll play it in plugin flow by default

very good work ;)

Soon (I test yet..) ;)

looks like some great work being done with banners and fanarts i cant wait to test it out abit more. i have a suggestion for the wiiflow guys/team.
would there be any chance of adding in an option to make catagories show after i click on a source plzzzz? i no its only a small thing but it would come in handy

I hope everyone gets it bug free.
  1. drag & drop your Fanart on the ctrlPic
  2. drag & drop your Fanart on the listview
  3. Set Fanart delay and trailer quality, Framerate..
  4. Generate fanart (very important)
  5. Convert your trailer

Du grand Spayrosam, comme d'hab ;)
Heureux de voir que tu t'intéresses encore à WiiFlow après toute ces années...

with the created fanart do i put this in the trailers folder the same as for the thp videos? or do i put it in the fanart folder and then add to the setting.ini?

Converts your trailer with fanart.

  1. drag & drop your Fanart (Pic: *.JPG, *.BMP, *.GIF, *.PNG, *.JPEG) on the ctrlPic
  2. drag & drop your Trailer ("*.mpg,*.mpeg,*.mp2,*.mp4,*.avi,*.wmv,*.mov,*.rm,*.rv,*.ra,*.asf,*.flac,*.3gp,*.vob,*.webm,*.flv") on the listview
  3. Set Fanart delay and trailer quality, Framerate..
  4. Generate fanart (very important)
  5. Convert your trailer

Use the same name system like covers

e.g.
Movie: USB\My moviename.iso
Trailer with Fanart:
  • USB\Wiiflow\Trailers\My moviename.iso.thp
  • USB\Wiiflow\Trailers\My moviename.iso.ogg

Does anyone remember the older versions of WiiFlow from 2-3-4 years ago that had all the crazy, swirling, coverflow views? Here are the only pics I could find:

I don't know if the current versions (4.2.1) still allow those types of views but I can't seem to do it. I've tried going back to v2.2 and v3.0 but they appear like the current incarnation. Does anyone know what version I'm referring to? I just wanted to boot that old version for nostalgia's sake but can't figure out which one it was.

wasnt this more to do with the theme for wiiflow?? find the correct theme you wanted and add it to wiiflow then you should be able to flick through the displays. but yea you are right this one is from a couple years back i couldnt say which version

It makes sense that it is theme-related. I've kept backups of my SD card at different times for just this reason but looking back through them I've never had anything in /wiiflow/themes, and don't remember explicitly applying any. Looking at past wiiflow dol files I was running back then (late 2011), it was probably r253, r304 or r417, but I've swapped both in to my current setup and none have those displays.

Looking instead at the available wiiflow themes and those in the official [old] v2.2 RC package, the background looks like the StarNight theme but I'm not sure if the theme is enough to enable different types of views. I'll load up StarNight with those old versions and see if it works.

ye i think its the starnight theme. but when it was on an old version of wiiflow it was built in as a default i think so there wasnt any files in the themes folder. thats my guess anyway

hey spayrosam, here is FR trad :)

ayatus thank you for helping me to adjust it ....

BitBot, your first screen is starnight theme, the second ... hum... i dont know...

Wiiflow is good, for native Wii games. The plugin support is also awesome. I regret we never got to enjoy correct game naming conventions for Final Burn Alpha. Thank you for WiiFlow.

It's actually very simple to do. You just need to edit your custom_titles.ini file. Add the plugin number and follow this format.

[464E254F]
1942=1942
1943=1943
88games='88 Games
actfancr=Act-Fancer Cybernetick Hyper Weapon
afighter=Action Fighter
agallet=Air Gallet
ajax=Ajax
aliens=Aliens
aliensyn=Alien Syndrome
arabian=Arabian
asuka=Asuka & Asuka
avengers=Avenger
batsugun=Batsugun
battroad=Battle-Road, The
bbakraid=Battle Bakraid - Unlimited Version
