It seems a bit like like reinventing the wheel to do it via the website. Especially as the data already conforms to a format - surely the ideal solution is to format it into a gametdb xml and present the whole thing to lustar - ?

I just want to say "congratulations" Abz

a new theme will be born ... 4 differents jpg on an existing ini... so good

I haven't heard back from anyone on if they have tested r1056/4.2.1 RC1.

I can't get to the progress bar, it just black screens on me when trying to load a game.

Not that easy since we are only using a portion of the XML's info in my categories.ini. Remember - I extracted the categories info to populate a WiiFlow specific setup. I can't recreate all the XML from the few bytes of info that we carry in the Categories data.

If I get free time the right way to do it (IMO) would be to extract the current XML again and then programatically do a check for missing info that I care about (Categories/ESRB/CERO ratings) and then have it create a report/list of the titles that I would need to update. I would also want to do a comparison for differences on items that I updated as I've updated a lot of titles in WiiFlow when I find the data was wrong. Then take those differences and update the GameTDB side of things. Perhaps if I get that far I can create a spreadsheet or other data file with the changes and hand over to Lustar to run an update if he approves.

Anyway, that's a long way down the road. Right now I just want to add at least one more Category so I can show or hide the non-NTSC or more likely non-English titles. I may start with that and separate out by country if there is any interest.

Well, here's what I got from Exterms on #mplayer_ce
It's not exactly the most definite answer but it might be a starting point.

I wonder if it just happens to take the same args as the original Linux program ... and I wonder where to look that up ...

EDIT : confirmed that the args are the same ... I'm guessing that can be found somewhere in here http://www.mplayerhq.hu/
Just wondering if any progress was made on this front & whether you're holding out on us maxternal? ;-)
4.1.3 r439

HDD formatted NTFS
folders within
all OK

with 4.2 r440 - 4.2.1 r1045
HDD formatted NTFS
folders within
code dump
Also before the new release is well.. released, was this bug given any attention? I couldn't reproduce the issue since I don't have a full NTFS partition. I'm all for a FAT32 type of setup anyway but I was just wondering.

I think the best option will be to just add the missing info into GameTDB and then other utilities like Configurable USB Loader etc that use the XML will be able to benefit from it.
Yeah, like i said earlier, this would be the best thing..also i would like to add that the gametdb is still alive but is highly dependable on input from others, lustar usually only moderates the stuff that come in..again, you should/could try contacting him.

NTSC-J for me XD woot woot!

Everthing's running well on 4.2.1 RC1, all games loading on my end bostonBC Game count at 533 nowhere near yours but hefty enough for me u animal u ;-)

Thanks, I'll try it with a smaller game set to see if that makes any difference.

What cIOS's and versions are you using?

Hey everyone, FIX94 here with WiiFlow 4.2.1.
Since I cant really remember all changes I probably will forget half of them, but you can find all of them for sure:
-Sourceflow, now you can view all sources in a coverflow too
-Completely reworked default theme by mamule, thanks to him alot for all the work
-added experimental autoboot function for source menu buttons, just add "autoboot=ID" for channel, wii and gc game buttons or "autoboot=TITLE" for plugin and homebrew buttons. Replace ID/TITLE with the game ID/Title you want to boot when clicking on the button of course.
-added "allow_b_on_questionmark" to the wiiflow.ini so you can disable the random game bootup when pressing b on the question mark icon
-added new source menu config menu access it via startup settings menu
-wiiflow will now slightly fadeout to black after one minute of no activity
-added Nintendont GC Loader support
-added custom titles support for plugin roms
-added 4 nand presets to the nand setting page 2
-added the vwii widescreen fix by tueidj
-added quite alot of new options to wiiflow to set various things
-fixed ALOT of bugs which prevented games from booting, letting wiiflow crash etc
Happy new year!
Download on google code as always.

Can we have an option to boot Wii games like Driver SF with neek2o? Currently I have Wiiflow set to autoboot, and neek2o wiiware set to return to real nand. It would be great to do that with wii games too.

Also are there any gamecube games that work better when launched from neek2o?

I'm having some difficulty launching wiiware with neek. To rule out any cross contamination, I installed a fresh wiiflow/neek2o setup, both the most recent, on a clean sd/usb. Also d2x-v10-beta52. Hidden wiiflow channel, wiiflow forwarder and neek switch on both sysmenu and neek nand. Tried both Return to Wiiflow/neek2o, but the games only boot every other time. The times they don't boot, they instead take me back to neek mode sysmenu even with Return to Wiiflow.

I get Stack Dump if i have my SD inserted, not sure, may be because it has another version of WiiFlow, but i would like it to stay the way it is.
Any ideas?

I load from the USB btw, so SD is unused except for containing apps, wads and 1 GCN game.

Are u updating? If you are, make sure you backup your old settings folder and files and start off with a fresh new install. Install the latest WiiFlow forwarder as well, that's important. You can find it on my sig in the wiiflowiki.

Delete the wiiflow ini from your other device.

Okay will do that.

And, does Luigis mansion work for you?
Asked on Dios Mios cause it´s what i am using on USB.
I tried USB Loader GX and WiiFlow both on the latest revision, as well as Dios Mios.

And it freezes after the intro video, i can either watch it and it will freeze at the end, or freeze when i skip.

Any ideas, i thought it was one of those that should be compatible from the looks of it.

got the latest d2x at 249,56 if that matters.
