Quick Q: when making different icons for sub-emulation i.e. GB, GBC and GBA we should have 3 magic numbers in 3 different plugin inis & 3 different rom folders right?
3 different INI's : Yes.
3 different ROM folders : That's your choice but just putting different filename extensions in each INI should do the trick.
3 different magic numbers : sounds right ... not sure.

I don't know if it's changed, but the extension .gb recognizes all 3 formats (.gb, .gbc, and .gba.) For this purpose seperate folders are a must if you want to be able to seperate your .gb games!

Edit: Great work on the icon set pepxl! Where can i grab your blue carbon theme?

Also, I added the frame set with the hoverbuttons to a source_menu setup in the same way AbdallahTerro and pepxl did. It's all setup, just make sure your magic numbers match up.

If i may be so bold, another SOURCE_MENU suggestion for your perusal...
We already have homebrew displayed as hi-quality covers - why not sources? Essentially were loading a dol from the wiiflow\plugins folder rather than a boot.dol from \apps
Would it be easy ;) or simple to allow the source menu to be in displayed in a coverflow format using code already within wiiflow?
Even using the current .ini's and functionality. A sourceflow.ini?

I think this would be more cohesive with the rest of wiiflow and add the vast functionality of the existing coverflow.

This all, of course, requires artwork...if i had any talent I would get the ball rolling- You could have classic examples of in-game graphics on the back - Data like chip/sound/graphics/period active. Cheeky little blurb about the handheld/console.
Retro paradise. Anyone got a large pretty photo of a super famicom? And knows photoshop? :P

p.s. I really think the function (the home button opening the source menu) is a great step forward, thanks to the community for making it happen, from one of many who thought it was a good plan. Feels good to be a small part of such a brilliant development.

Every time I download a new wiiflow dol from a certain site the folder contains the files app_booter.bin and stub.bin in the root. Any idea what these do?

Source menu by pepxl or source menu by mastershoes , difficult to choose !

Very good job !

Did I miss something? I don't recall anyone saying the wiimote home button or even the home icon will open the source menu. That's not up to me - that's up to Fix94. If he says it's okay then it's okay. I kind of have a feeling he doesn't want to change that. So don't get your hopes up.

Fix, please reassign the "Home" button to the source menu, The system menu is not our home here :)

It could even be made as an option in the wiiflow.ini file. A system menu button would fit nicely between the ( 1/3 ) and ( Exit ) buttons on the source menu.

He's still singing the lala song, 447 home button gets you back to SM after a 5sec Codedump :)

Guys need a quick preference, just let me know what number style you think looks best for the button tweak.

I like 2 better, I don't like the semi transparent layer over the top half console image, it detracts from it a bit :)
