Hi I have wiiflow beta 410, i tried putting it into priiloader to autoload and it does not load up. and when i pick install file it justs gives me a black screen. Any suggestions?
Wii specs
202 - base 60 hermes v5.1
222 - base 38 merge 37 hermes v4
223 - base 38 merge 60 hermes v4
224 - base 57 hermes v5.1
236 - IOS36 v3351 Patched & Installed
247 - base 37 rev 21d2xv6
248 - base 56 rev 21d2xv6
249 - base 56 rev 21d2xv6
250 - base 57 rev 21d2xv6
Wiiflow 2.2 r401 beta
Bootmii @ ISO
Does wiiflow work without auto-loading?
Anyway i suggest going onto modmii and typing REC on the cIOS page, it makes everything work perfectly for me.

Fat32 : Corruption and fragmentation possible
NTfs : Corruption & fragmentation possible
WBFS : Corruption ( very difficult) fragmentation ( no)

Superior ?

Where ?
i think he means that with FAT32 or NTFS you have less complexcity to transfert you game (just copie/paste the .wbfs files)

Sorry if this has been answered before, but as the new revision has access to the SD card I am thinking if it is possible to directly boot from Wiiflow your VC and Wiiware games.
Is it possible to implement such a feature?

Stay on topic people.

We have had that discussion many times...
The fact is all File Systems have advantages, depending on the situation of the user..
None of them are very bad..

I think its time to start a seperate topic, if you want to discuss it...or maybe there already is..

Try using Wiiflow Lightning Priiloader Forwarder v11b3 for Priiloader. The old fowarders don't support dollz compressed dols. This one I updated using fix94's latest forwarder dol and should now work.

that is all

Corruption difficult on WBFS? Incorrect, WBFS has no error checking, not file table, no real file system control. Just adding or removing 1 game can cause your ENTIRE partition to be lost. Corruption and fragmentation in NTFS/FAT32 is extremely difficult to corrupt, read up on the specs of those for the protections against corruption that are built into the file system. Also, if you use *.wbfs format on those you have NEARLY ZERO fragmentation. Corruption was an issue with NTFS in its infancy, LONG ago before I fixed writing to NTFS in libntfs-3g, which I and many many other have bewen using with wii homebrew for about a year and a half with not a single problem. I do agree with Identity about EXT4 though, considering I have studied the inner workings of each file system, because EXT4 has the most complex and complete error protection. I would assume making such a bold statement as that you should know to do your homework before trolling something as retarded as that..... Must be a brainwashed linux fanboy. Linux is great, but there are other great things out there as well.... WBFS was a hack file system to get backup loading support on the wii, nothing more. It was thought back then that it was the only way to do it, until oggzee did some pretty cool shit with fat32/ntfs.

It is suggested that for these d2x ONLY versions you remove any other cios you have that is not in 202,222,223,224,225,236 (those are ignored by the cios detection)
This means you should not have anything between slot 100 and slot 253 except possibly those cios.
After that, install d2x v6 (or the alpha7 + v6 ehchi which ppl call "v7 fixed"), base 37 into slot 245, 38 into 246, 53 into 247, 55 into 248, 56 into 249, 57 into 250, and 58 into 251. This will allow most of your channels and games to run under a cios with its native IOS as the base, so don't bother changing the alt_ios option, leave it on AUTO. And while I'm at it, YES, channels use auto_ios also, even for nand emu.

Should these cIOS also be installed in the virtual NAND on the HDD or only in the "physical" NAND? I mean, when using NAND emu from where does it use the cIOS'es?

Another question. For channels does Wiiflow use cIOS'es or the standard Nintendo ISO'es?

Thanks.

The Wiiflow Wiki download for the Very Beta r411 doesn't work for me - it gives a Mediafire error...
Has anyone got it hosted somewhere else?
+1 either a link or a more up-to-date version on filetrip would be sufficient.

Linux fan boy?? pft...NTFS is a essentially a proprietary file system to begin with, its designed for Windows and should stay on windows, it has no room in the open source coding world whatsoever and it is very very easy to corrupt a NTFS file system FACT.

But the fact you refer to "fanboys" shows your mentality, Windows fanboy much? your post was the trolling post dude i was simply stating a fact that anyone who has worked in a data crucial environment such as a NOC or a Data Centre wouldn't touch NTFS with a large stick because as i previously stated it is FAIL, there are better alternatives and more stable file systems out there that should and can be used. So instead of accusing people of being "fanboys" and trolling stop being an asshat

Stay on topic...

I've been having issues loading page 4 of the options menu, it keeps freezing. Anyone else have this issue? (r411)

Link renewed, it now containes a FIXED 411, Wii games should play now for people who had problems with that.
Also, there IS STILL a bug in this one too, causing problems with launching Games if you use ISO format on NTFS, WBFS format is fine.

I have no questions or comments or anything to say, just: absof..kin'lutely amazing job done, I simply love the virtual NAND feature, I am totally happy I threw in a few bucks
to make this happen. great great job, 15 thumbs up if I had that many.

It uses cIOS for channels, since nand emu requires a cios. All those bases should be installed to the normal physical nand, I doubt any cios needs to be in the emunand at all. Wiiflow will automatically find the cios with the best base for each channel/game on game launch, this is why you need all of the bases installed for best compatibility.

I can boot all emulated wiiware just fine now but I seem to be having major issues booting any games it just shows the loading screen forever. I have:

202 - base 60 hermes v5.1
222 - base 38 merge 37 hermes v4
223 - base 38 merge 60 hermes v4
224 - base 57 hermes v5.1
236 - IOS36 v3608 Patched & Installed
247 - base 37 rev 21d2xv6
248 - base 58 rev 21d2xv6
249 - base 56 rev 21d2xv6
250 - base 57 rev 21d2xv6
Wiiflow 2.2 r411 beta
Priiloader (BootMii working) @ Boot2

Yes, that was a problem i created in the last rev and another I created in 395, it is fixed for the next commit. It should only effect games in *.iso format or games that use the same ios as the main ios.

What was "fixed" with this FIXED 411? Was the source code changed but still kept as revision 411?
