im still not understanding wiiflow. i read somewhere that wiiflow is the better usb loader kuz it can load games off a fat32 harddrive correct? if so, cant i just stick my games into my harddrive and play my wii games or do i have to format it?

Usually you would have more games than forwarder isos. Simply set the ios to boot them from to 222. Also I think they work with cios249 r20 too.

You are right. I used to have to boot all my forwarder isos on 222. Now with the newest 249r20 they boot with all default settings.

It just keeps getting better and better!

if you want to play games on fat32, you need to make a "wbfs" folder on the root... and convert the .iso's to .wbfs's using the the wbfs manager.

using fat32 means formatting to fat32 filesystem. using ntfs means formatting to ntfs. ntfs can play *.iso files but it is still recommended to convert them to *.wbfs files as it is faster since iso's are converted to wbfs in memory anyway (wbfs files IS NOT WBFS filesystem). fat32 is the recommended file system as ntfs is still read only.

Read the wiki.... WiiFloWiki, read the thread.. look at my signature about how to search just this thread, and GO TO IRC.

I have found a bug, no matter what game i tried if i launch it from a disc using wiiflow it cant connect to wifi mode, i have tried with COD:MW, Fifa 2009, Fifa 10, Monster Hunter 3, and everytime i tried it shows an error. btw i have tested r139, r141 and r142 and i got the same results, r137 is working fine ^^.

i was on cios rev20 and i went back to rev17 and my usb loads now but now it says to either install game or select partition. i still would not like to format my drive completely. is there a way so i can just load games off my ntfs drive?

I found some glitches in the latest WiiFlow rev. First, when I change the theme, I get a strange mix between the classic theme and the new ones. And second, the + and - buttons don't work anymore, this was a very useful option if you have a lot of games on your hdd. Will be those problems solved in the future revs?

they are not glitches nor problems to solve.

the strange mix in themes is due to one space in the theme.ini
open it with notepad , and delete the space in GENERAL = [ GENERAL] becomes [GENERAL]

+ and - are not used anymore , since a big number of revs now...
Use B + up/down instead , or B + left/right.

Miigotu already stated not to report bugs here , especially when they are on latest revs , which are even not beta.
Come to IRC for this.

I test rev92 and my games all work, for rev20 cios.....
In rev142, my games dual layer not work and missing translate files

Ok, other problem present in rev92 and rev 142, my games karaoke, for use USB port 2 microphone, not work, not detect microphone in usb por 2 o.O

When I try to reset my games through Home button/reset button it shows a green screen then return to Wii Menu, is it normal?

you need to change your custom ios from rev17 to rev18 or above. google for waninkokos cios installer rev19. this should fix your issue.

i went to rev19 and now it loads metroid other m. i hope i dont get any freezes. thank you mgrimmenator!

I was using rev 119 for the last weeks and only yesterday I tried rev 143 and 144.
Wiiflow became slow and clunky. It causes delays to everything.I think that everything that made Wiiflow shine is lost.
I really appreciate your commitment to Wiiflow and your hard work, but in my modest opinion, you are starting to lose the focus. You implement a lot of unnecessary functions that make Wiiflow lose its real strength-simplicity.

I returned back to rev119.What a difference.....

I'm not talking on Dev's behalf...cause im not one of them. Instead, im one of the guys that drops by the IRC channel and gets close to everything new that is going on wiiflow.
That comment you said about being slower...is true.
However, if you realized...the ftp has 2 versions of wiiflow. Latest stable 123, and latest compiled 144.
The stable tag, indicates a version is near completion...this is...its a solid workbase and solid platform for the loader, instead...the 144 is the current workbase.
It's availlable to let users use it, and report on irc, their impressions on it...helping the dev's on the current course of the loader.

It's why, this versions are only availlable on ftp instead of this thread, to don't disappoint users that only want something stable.

The other comment "I think that everything that made Wiiflow shine is lost..." it's unfair IMO.
People have lives you know...and they dedicate much time of their days to helping this loader becoming greater. It has been through some really radical changes..not everyone appreciates that...but its a matter of evolution.
I might not agree on every little thing developed for wiiflow, but i agree on the other 90%...and its beeing maintained to assure that every game you have is playable here.

It's a matter of choices..of tastes.
Since i started with wiiflow 1.0 ....i never used another loader.

Edit: Oops, you where quicker than me Pakatus....but panmusic can still try the suggestion i made below...speed difference should'nt be that much...

If your Wiiflow is clunky using rev 143/144, you probably are doing something wrong, my suggestion is to backup your /apps/wiiflow folder and then delete the ini files in the folder before you start wiiflow, if its still clunky, also delete everything in the /wiiflow/cache folder and try again.
