Been busy with real life but always check this forum at least once a day.

got a question that i know probably has been answered already or i can figure out on my own thru trial and error but I'm being lazy. :) so will the skylanders games work with wiiflow and which cios do i need to make them work with the portal?
My son plays them all the time. I'll go check to see if it's set for auto CIOS or not.

Edit - yes both play perfectly. I haven't updated that box in a while so it's running r892.

Auto CIOS, I'm using d2x v8 (56/249, 57/250)

I have the portal attached when the Wii is turned on.

Nice, thanks maxternal, I'm AFW for a couple of more days but when I get the chance I'll try messing around with that code. Is that Ocarina?

Anyway here's a small contribution to WiiFlow and something to satisfy WiiFlow lovers aesthetic tastes for any season or CSM. I had to redo many of the unofficial WiiFlow channels posted on the wiki due to improper sound looping and swapped in different audio entirely on others. Check vid description for credits, also the names of forwarders are annotated throughout vid.

Download Individual forwarders here.

Full Pack Here in .7z format.

All forwarders have title ID DWFA to match GameTDB to easily d/load cover in NAND view, and have of course been updated to fix94's latest v14b forwarder dol source. And any hiccups/slowdown/sound distortion in vid due to Dolphine Emu w/Fraps on slow PC, sorry about that, I'm still on a shitty Pentium4 :P

@fledge68 if you get a chance please update the wiki with these channels. Thanks!

Thanks! tried it and it works just fine. I figured I would need a hermes cios but d2x v8 worked just fine. thanks again. :grog:

Sure did, I compile it for Wii no prob, just trying to compile it for Dolphin now.
ok and with more testing and trial/error I figured a way to make it work in dolphin :)
using Dolphin rev3.5 and WF rev 908

custom SD.RAW files are not detected well when wiiflow dol is launched
only worked with the 132MB file that Dolphin creates by default
also noticed that the custom SM wad I was using in Dolphin (rev 54450) was giving an HLE error too
so instaled 4.3E wad and this hle error was gone

few things to note though:
you need to attach a virtual wiimote to press buttons and change settings (Alt+F5)
theme change ended with endless loop of WF anuimation (tried switching to carbonik theme in my pack - though Fix94 was able to change the theme)
also got several freezes requiring restarting emulation

so though this is working but it's miles away from being perfect

P.S. I've added few image editing tools and virtual sd.raw files to the masterpiece (extracted) folder, find them in the _Handy_PC_Tools folder

Does anyone know of a tool to batch convert GameCube files? I have 574 of them and using the DMToolbox v0.3 tool is very slow doing one at a time. TIA.

i asked the same thing back when i got my gamecube set, and i did not find any useful options, i had to extract and rename each and every one. my wrists hurt terribly!

YEAAAA!!!! XD

Just got home from a nice 13hr day at work, and sure enough to my delight you got things going!! U are da freaking MAN!! Plus u always go the extra mile and add a little someting extra, I'll be needing the raw image editing tools, and although I already had dolphin make me an sd.raw file which we talked about earlier, it's nice to have it as an optional d/load in your extracted pack. U think of it all bud, Thanks again Abz!

@VashTS, your wrist hurts , bro what's that yellow GC game cover you got on your wiinertag in your Sig? I don't think I've seen that one before, or maybe I have but I just can't make it out.

place your iso/ngc files in one folder
open dos command prompt (Run "cmd")
go to the folder with games you made earlier
type "dir /b > list.txt"
now a txt file is created with all the game names and extensions each on a separtate line
now open that txt file in any word editor and use the replace feature to make a valid discex command
you need to have this format: discex filename.ext -c (where ext is iso or ngc)
so replace ".iso" with ".iso -c" same for .ngc
add discex to start of each line (either by special paste or copy "discex " hold "ctrl" and select the start of the line then press v with still holding ctrl - this way you'll finish fast
rename the list.txt to makelifeeasy.bat
extract the discex into your folder make sure discex.exe and the batch file and all games coexist in same folder
double click the batch file
:)

Thanks I will try that. Is there an option to save as optimized mode like the DMToolbox app? And can I pipe any errors into a text file?

Reason is I found that some games can't use the optimized format in DMToolbox. If I use this batch command and if there is a way to save as optimized then I need to be able to see which ones didn't convert.

with DiscEx they will all convert however sometimes using -c or compressed mode will give a "larger"! iso. so in such cases -c is not needed. also alignment is not needed with compression afaik
so if you batch convert as described above 95-99% of the games will work fine. you'll just need to check the size and compare quickly to find the ones that failed compression and just redo them manually without the -c option.

After some trial and error the format is actually:

discex -c "file.iso"

as in...

discex -c "Teen Titans (USA) (En,Fr).iso"
discex -c "Enter the Matrix (USA) (Disc 2).iso"
discex -c "ESPN International Winter Sports 2002 (USA).iso"

Appreciate this... it's chugging along now, hope my 4TB drive doesn't overheat. Would be nice to be able specify a destination folder so it could copy to a different drive but I'll only have to do it once.

Will check back in the morning when it's (hopefully) done.

sorry my bad was remembering things from the top of my head.
just 1 more thing if you have many zelda ocarina injects you'll have to change the gameIDs with iso tools or Hexedit first or else you will get 1 output folder with all the games replaced. So compare the iso/ngc filecount with created folders count when it's done

@Abz I popped Ivy the kiwi into the 128MB sd.raw file that Dolphin creates in a wbfs folder and I was able to see the game in WiiFlow. I haven't tried launching the game yet since I was so happy I went straight to coverflow editing lol.

Also had no sound since I needed DSP rom for LLE audio but I got that now so hopefully tomorrow will bode well for audio. Dolphin 3.5 r1031 supposedly has almost just as much compatibility with HLE audio as LLE AUDIO which is pretty amazing. I'm going to try and compile that tomorrow as well and see how WiiFlow performs. Thanks for your help again btw.
