I have difficulty to load more than ~40 covers in wiiflow, when i spin around my game, it keep reloading the covers everytimes. Do I have too much games? I didnt have that bug before.

How to make WiiFlow THE ultimate loader:

Part 1: Bugs to fix
A. Shortcuts and the Homebrew mode:
we have 5 modes and 4 direction in D-Pad, in each mode 1 direction is unused (ex. up in Wiimode, down in GCmode, right in Nandmode, Left in Emumode), homebrew shortcut can be used by pressing this unused direction;
this way all modes can be accessed from all modes
B. Homebrew Cache, should display proper icon by fixing cache file length
C. Master System in emulators (at least for me doesn't work) either use GenplusGX-v1.5 or fix v1.6.1
D. Some Wii Games and Wiiware don't work (see part "2")
E. When a Emulator is selected by using the filter, all roms cannot be seen again unless we go to setting>plugins in EmuMode, even after restarting Wiiflow. All roms should be the default

Part 2: Features to add
A. Icon Flow. see all your icons flowing and see the banner in full screen when an icon is pressed. Of course we can select icon or cover flow from options and make a dedicated iconflow view modes.
B. Add neekbooter to launch Wiiware in Neek environment (PL3 has this feature) this will increase compatibility to ~100% for Wiiware/VC
C. Same as B but for Wii Games ex. Tintin only works with Neek, adding neek environment can allow launching the game directly from wiiflow
D. Of course the above 2 features require an Emulated nand on SD or USB so Wiiflow should be able to create or at least extract the Nand.
E. Add more emulators like Mame, NeoGeo, C64, Amiga & DS
F. Incorporate a savegame manager.

I'm not a coder but I have these ideas, some might be crazy but I'm sure someday they'll all be available.

Wow this was 2 months ago.
Thanks to Fix94 and Wiiflow devs many features are now a reality:
Cache issues, shortcuts, source menu, Banner support, Hermes cIOS support, new wait logo, up to date emulators... to name a few :P

Glimpse into the future: (features in random order)
1. New emulators
2. Neekbooter
3. return to emunand mode after running a wiiware
4. icon support/iconflow
5. custom png for absent covers especially for each plugin (using magic number) and optionally for Wii/GC/Wiiware/Homebrew
6. Online banner download
7. Option to disable/enable banners
8. Do the dishes and clean the house and save planet earth from global warming :)

Already tons of extra stuff is added..Wiiflow mem management has a hard time handeling it all as it is.

Which rev do you use?
rev 604, it doesnt load cover as fast as before, when i'm scrolling there is allways covers loading, And I only have 30 GC games, and a hundred of wii game.

And COD black ops and MW3 freeze at the loading screen when we go to the multiplayer screen. I tried to force ios 224 but nothing works.

Both of you, delete wiiflow.ini, and I just played a round MW3 multiplayer, no problems, dont use savegame emulator or shit like that, make sure you have the latest shop channel and ios56 installed, accepted all licenses and can enter the shop channel just fine, its no wiiflow problem for sure.

Already tons of extra stuff is added..Wiiflow mem management has a hard time handeling it all as it is.
No hurry E, ofc I want wiiflow as stable as possible first too; just making some fortune telling :)

i deleted the wiiflow.ini and devolution loader.bin.
using dml 1.5

if i try to start the games via the dml-loader, everything works fine..seems something changed since 600 rev :/

Played MW3 for hours last night using r609, no problems. Only on real NAND though - it thinks saves are corrupted in emunand for some reason.

r613 is working great! small problem of having to manually add the savepartition=1 line in [games]
But, after that, all is well!
BO + MW3 start and run multiplayer with auto ios selection and save game emulation...

I just wanted to be positive, lol! :P

p.s. I kinda like the new animation too! If only the animation was a little smoother

lol, nah, i already tried this, doesn't work.

Do you even see the banner or does it crash before?
well...coverflow works, banneranimation works. if i click on the "play" button, screen seems to try switching another video mode, cd-drive does a short "shhhhhh" and then my posted error.
normally it should show up the internal dios-mios bootscreen and then gamestart.

Hello to all
I have some problem with wiiflow r606
1) I tried to extract the nand (for install the Wad in safety), but when I arrive at 99% extraction everything freezes. I watch the extraction 48414a50.tik 0/0 kb and stands there (I've left more than 15 minutes).
I just have to turn-off to unlock it (the wii is blocked in this point).
2) I tried to put a game (The Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap.gba) for use with the emulator built vBagX, but every time I select the game the wii will restart and return to the initial menu (I don’t have the channel to start Wiiflow; it start to HomeBrew channel)
3) Another thing. If I use wii64 (but also applies to other emulators) which puts the saves??
Should I create a folder "SAVE" in the same root where there is the rom?

Using r607 gives me an error while trying to launch gameboy games. GBC and GBA seem to work fine. I'm using the latest plugins, deleted wiiflow.ini and the cache, deleted the vbagx settings files, same result.

This is the error screen, any suggestions?

is this happening with a specific game or all gb games?
only thing i can think of is a corrupted rom

Thats a vbagx codedump, no wiiflow one, strange thing, may you delete the vbagx palette file, I remember that made problems here. Look on all your drives for it.

I was not sure if I should make a new release this week, since we've added alot of things, some not really tested, but I just decided to make it because we fixed enough bugs :P
The first big difference from r590 is support for older cIOS, you can now boot wii games with hermes and waninkokos cIOS again, also wiiflow should run with them instead of d2x only, emu nand and save emulation is d2x only still. Wiiflow now got stub IOS detection so it will not make some mistake and tries to start with a stub IOS.
The next thing is .jpg file support, now covers dont need to be .png only, you just should make sure the width and height are divisible with 4, so dont open up bugs with covers are not showing if it is 1090x680, just take a calculator and do 1090/4, gotcha? :P
Next thing is you now can boot channels via neek2o (r90+ required), that means you dont need to boot your neek2o setup to go into wiiflow neek mode, it should now work directly from real nand (enable Launch Title with neek2o in the game settings for it), that is not very well tested, so maybe if it doesnt work try it in the next release.
Also, the Devolution support is better, you can also start two disc games now, just place the second ISO into the folder of the first and rename it to gam1.iso.
WiiFlow also got a new wait animation, if you dont like it got to gbatemp.net wii tutorials section and check out the tutorial on how to change the animation by yourself.
The AUTO IOS selection changed a bit, it will now just use the currently loaded IOS if the game does not request IOS57.
To the main bugfixes, Wii and GameCube booting should work way better now (especially with Devolution), there was a fatal bug in setting video mode which may gave you no signal messages, also homebrew booting had a major bug, that is fixed now, Homebrew/Plugins should work way better than with r590. The background music problems should be gone for everyone now, I know it was sometimes missing, that should not happen at all anymore, no matter how much things you use. A bug with WBFS partitions is fixed as well, it started the games on the wrong way from it, d2x did not care about it, but older cIOS like waninkoko r17 do.
WiiFlow got a better HDD Compatility now, as well as (currently not used) USB Port 1 support.
The support for DIOS-MIOS 2.1 is added now, dm_r2.1+ in wiiflow.ini DML section (enabled by default), so you can now enable the new widescreen patch, the option is added to the game settings.
Some unneeded code lines are removed, debug messages are improved/corrected, and other minor bugs are fixed.
Download via google code or internal wiiflow update, as always :P
