Giving numbers is not a good idea, people will think about them as 3 is the update of 2, and if 2 is updated differently after 3, it will be confusing.

Agreed.

I had missed the detail about the new family. CONGRATS.
I can say from personal experience, though, that neither that nor college are very good at leaving a lot of time.

Family isnt so new, I've been married 2 yrs, and my son is almost 2. As for "college" its a part time certificate program where I teach more than i learn...

Also I kinds didnt like how in the credit screen hibern was crdited enough but seemed as those who came after and made edits, addtions, fixes are portrayed to be like they developed the app where they actually are tinkering around with his source

Hibern's source has been re-coded and re-factored so much, and so much has been added, not much original code still exists.

Since there is a '2o tradition or something like that going around here, why not call this Wiiflow2O :D?

^^ Same reason Cyan said about numbers, it gives the impression that its some newer model and that the official one is obsolete.

Anyways, I did commit half of my changes creating a new r418 last night, in response to fix94 trying to imitate the preview of my new homebrew view (failedly as usual). Few things are not quite right but it works pretty well at least. To ppl who still have a little bit of support for me, don't worry too much about what ppl say... you all know once I get caught up I will bury them with a sheer mass in improvements. Then they can play catch up.

I can't code C/C++. So I lack competence to judge anyones Wii coding skills. People who can't code shouldn't judge other's coding skills IMO. Let the coders do the judging :D

I, along with many other folks still support you and the main branch WiiFlow.
We eagerly await for improvements as we have complete faith in you. Thanks for continuing your work on the greatest loader out therr.

Is Anyone using Wiiflow & Wiiflow-mod at the same time? NO
Why? Because the Mod is just an updated Wiiflow.
Then make this official and stop arguing and join forces to make this app even better (GX is light years ahead)
the thing is, the way I understand it at least, is that Wiiflow works differently then Wiiflow-Mod, testing Miigotu's build which still had DML had a significantly smaller dol (almost 2x smaller). So in the end it's not just Wiiflow with updates as the source code has been changed fairly drastically.

When Miigotu commits his version it'll prob be a different beast altogether so we really will have 2 seperate and very much different WiiFlow's to compare :-)

Edit: I forgot to ask [member='Abdallahterro'] what makes GX so special? Light years ahead is a bold claim and from what I've seen on video I don't enjoy it's presentation or "feel" so to speak as much as WiiFlow. I have the same gripe with CFG, works great, very stable filtering is awesome but i still prefer the way Wiiflow is lol

in response to fix94 trying to imitate the preview of my new homebrew view (failedly as usual)...

Fix got stuff going on when you were absent for whatever reasons.

And he and the rest of the team did a good job(as usual)

Know what you are talking about before you talk shet...
r207 Wiiflow-Mod was committed 26 hours ago, after I've been back like 3 weeks.

The commit log is intended to cause problems because the new hb view was shown to 1 (1!) person and he decided to imitate it with something like 350 lines of code where mine took like 10 lines of code.
Code:
-added new boxmesh for homebrew view that the icons
are not stretched anymore (I added it for a very special
person and I know that this person will read this log)

And then he added a comment to the commit: Comment
(OFC I gave a kiddie response in my commit, only because it was funny and thats all kids understand)

And apparently I'm the childish one according to some people... when in fact I'm twice this kids age, who has less than 1 year experience programming.

Idc what he does with his mod, but carrying the wiiflow name as if its something official is just them piggybacking on the reputation real developers have built for wiiflow over the past 3+ years.
Want respect? Name it something unique, and code your own shet. Be accountable when you wipe people's drives or something, or possibly get the respect if it works out ok. Don't let your inexperience shadow something great just to make yourself feel like your king.

And also, these ppl been talking about how "they didnt have rights to commit to svn"... Well ofc they didnt and nor should they. Does every nab get commit/push rights on the linux kernel? No, because there are a lot more ppl that THINK they know something than actually do.

Honestly i dont see why everyone makes such a huge deal about it. Wiiflow mod will fade away in a month or 2 just like wiiflow-book-mod and others. I'm not in the least worried about it, and neither should you be.

sorry pepxl the version I tested is about 2 weeks old it was about 1.8mb if I remember correctly. Definitely not his latest commit.

And [member='Mugotu'] I agree with you about a lot of things and 2b totally honest I don't know [member='Fix94'] all that well but I really don't get the impression that he's working on WiiFlow-Mod to b king as u put it or for some kind of entitlement, popularity or to make a name for himself. I feel he genuinely loves WiiFlow, is learning a ton of shit doing it, enjoys it lots obviously and yes ofc he's adding features that people have wanted and would like to see in WiiFlow that u were unable to(due to your abscence) or did not want to input into your version.

Hence why I believe that his WiiFlow will last and maybe I'm being too nice and optimistic or whatever but again I do see a future for both projects ;-)

He is referring to the fact that I use dollz3 and fix94 doesn't. But in general, my code is always done with less, and my changes done as minimal as possible to achieve a specific goal.

that's easily fixed here's the dollz3'ed (Compressed) WFMod of R206, 1.97 MB (2,072,576 bytes)

Not being my native language sorry for the grammar.

I honestly do not understand that attacking mugotu instead of thanking all contributed to Wiiflow.
Similarly if Fix94 and team, brought new features that are useful we must be grateful.
Some people will prefer one version over another, but do not think it necessary to take sides, just use the version that is best for each person. Comment that we like but do not attack the version that is not ideal for us.

Personally I look for stability, so I hope the version of Mugotu progress and become solid as stone before focusing on include any novel feature. Mugotu thanks for everything you've done so far really appreciate it because I am a user of Wiiflow for long time.

ok that makes sense. I wasn't aware it was further compressed.

That rev was everything but serious, you should laugh about it man, I was thinking hey why dont make some useless cheap created troll version of your idea just that you see we are here and have fun working on this project, you should have too ;)
Anyway, I see you got it into the totally wrong light again, I was even thinking about to revert it because its some really useless and unefficient commit I made there.
