Got a WBFS_Open failed problem with Wiiflow 1.1 R25...
thank you!

upgrade your wiiflow to the latest version. see if your problem still exist and then repost. fyi I can tell you that you problem has to do with the version of ios249 you are using. stop by the irc channel channel for assistance.

I just tried a clean install of the latste wiiflow version, r92a-WiiFlow_249.zip and the latest Configurable USB Loader, Cfg_USB_Loader_57.zip.
Now Wiiflow does see my WBFS partition but when I select a game (Zelda TP), it wont load...
Same problem with Cfg_USB_Loader_57.

When I connect my other Seagate 320Gb USB with 2 partitions (WBFS+NTSF) it does work with no problems at all.
Need some help please...

Hi all,

I'm just about to install WiiFlow and I'd be grateful if you could answer a couple of questions for me:

I'm going to install onto a hard drive and reading the Wiki it says that FAT32 is highly recommended. Do I just copy the .iso of the game that I want to run into the root of the drive? Wouldn't an .iso file that's been converted to WBFS take up less room?

Thanks and regards.

You cant copy the iso to the hard drive you need to convert it to wbfs and place it in the wbfs folder on the root of the hard drive

i need feed back on trailers and approval to make changes to the program i wrote that creates trailers for wiiflow.

normal trailers now are around 24mb or so but quality is not that great cause they are 320x240 in size.

i have made changes to the THP Converter so it can make 640x480 trailers that are just like the originals and much clearer almost like hd, but the size is twice as much.

I think worth it for better quality in wiiflow, any thoughts?

r-win, bubba, miigotu: is it ok to make new version with better trailers for wiiflow?

I wanted to say congrats to Miigotu! And i agree with pakatus we do want a name

(LOL wiiflow jr.)

@mgrimmenator - IMO the trailers feature atm is worthless, cause the video is so low quality it doesnt even match the covers quality so it looks way out of place alot of things are very blotchy due to its size and the sound volume is well below the banenr volume, Giving an option for full quality is a perfect solution, or putting the video in a smaller box which has already been talked about on IRC and is not happening. The choice for higher quality vids never hurt anyone

i have alot of games. and the trailers folder size is already immense. for a feature i only use to show people "hey check this out!"

well if you don't use it that much then it shouldn't really mater right? you don't have to put trailers on your harddrive if you don't want them. if showing the features to a friend i think i would rather show them something that can be viewed without looking so blurry and degraded.

just me opinion.

You cant copy the iso to the hard drive you need to convert it to wbfs and place it in the wbfs folder on the root of the hard drive
If the iso is scrubbed you can copy it directly to the drive if it is less than 4gb and wiiflow will play it just fine.

I think the thp converter should have an option to output 640x480 or 320x240....

BTw the baby's name is Caidyn James for those who are asking....and now im out again.

congrats on baby

fyi i created a new version with both hd and normal output, defaulting to hd
