Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

So I've been interested in the revisions after the 2.0 release and assume I need to download / compile them myself. I followed the instructions on the wiiflow wiki, but I'm having trouble when I'm supposed to do the SVN Checkout with Tortoise SVN. I keep receiving - Error: PROPFIND of '/svn/trunk': timed out waiting for server (http://wiiflow.googlecode.com) - and being told that, at best, 587 bytes were transferred in 120 minutes and 2 seconds.

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all your hard work on Wiiflow. You guys are doing one hell of a job with this app. I am hoping that you will consider writing a forwarder dol for Crap written by WiiCrazy. It seems that the other USB Loaders have a forwarder dol for use with Crap but none for Wiiflow. I think one is really needed.

I sent a PM to Narolez asking him if he would consider this task but he did not respond. He wrote the official forwarder for Wiiflow. He also wrote a loader dol for Crap for Configurable USB. So I figured that he would be the perfect person for this task. Maybe he is to busy or does not want to do this.

I know you guys are really busy working on Wiiflow but is there any way that you could squeeze this in? I would greatly appreciate it and believe that many would use it. If you can not take this on then could you contact Narolez and ask him? Maybe if you guys ask he might consider doing this. I have already spoken with WiiCrazy and he suggested that I contact you guys. Thanks for all you have done with Wiiflow...

Has the music (playing in order instead of playing randomly) been fixed yet? I'm sure its an easy fix.

R54 is the best.
What did i tell you about that? If you dont like new versions, stick with your obsolete version and stfu. Just because r55+ has a stupid bug that adds extra blank lines to the cheats files does not mean r54 is best. The new ones have HUGE improvements on OTHER bugs since then. By you announcing your oppinion as fact is detrimental to the progress of wiiflow and i despise it. It's like saying everything we did since r54 is shit. If you must keep saying it, close our browser and irc and sit there and whisper "r54 is best r54 is best"

there just needs 1 small addition to our dev forwarder and 1 small addition to wiiflow and crap can autolaunch games in wiiflow. But this is not a priority BY FAR, as we have many other things on the list before we have time to do trivial things like this. THB after our plans are reality not many ppl will use the system menu anymore if they use wiiflow, so what use will a crap channel be then?

I managed to do this without a problem simply following the steps on the Wiki, not sure why you are having such problems with SVN. If you want access to a compiled beta version then come to IRC where i'm sure someone will gladly help, we're not posting them in here because then we get noob's saying "Wahhhh this doesn't work, and that doesn't work..." so if you want to try the beta some and get it we won't be posting them publicly until they come out of beta.

It is promising that only a couple of changes can make this work. I realize that this is not a priority but it seems like a small change. Not everyone wants to use Wiiflows new Channel launching function. I for one still want to use the System Menu therefor Crap is very important to me and probably to others as well. I hope you will make the changes that you have mentioned. Thanks...

I forgot to mention that I and many other use ios 249 with base 57. So the loading channels stuff will not work anyway. Thanks again for all your hard work Mugotu and r-win.

Anyway...you can build your own full channel if you want to.
Just grab your fav forwarder wad, and inject the dol from wiiflow 2.0 with customizemii from Leathl.
It's quite easy.

Then install it as another wad.

It's fine by me that people post svn versions here, but remember: you cannot report bugs for non-released version on our issue system: they will be removed. If you have a problem, or a bug, you can report those in IRC. IRC is also THE place to get the OFFICIAL beta builds. We have no debug files for custom compiled versions, so if you get a dsi exception, or if you have another problem, you will be asked to reproduce the faulty behaviour with a version which we compiled.
Also, remember that newer builds can (and probably will) break themes and/or configuration. And yes, that is also true for the builds we make.

If you've never used IRC before, try http://chat.mibbit.com and connect to irc.abjects.net, channel #wiiflow. The latest beta version is always mentioned in the topic.
