Hacking WiiFlow 4.1.3 and Neek2o

Hello.

I'm not new to WiiFlow, I am however new to running WiiWare/Virtual Console in Neek2o from WiiFlow.

I've managed to extract the NAND with WiiFlow, add WADs to it with ShowMiiWads and play them with WiiFlow. I believe this is "normal" mode.

I've even setup a setup_menu that allows selecting Wii or WiiWare when WiiFlow starts.

Not all the WiiWare games work and I believe running them in Neek2o should solve that problem.

I believe that it's possible to launch a WW/VC game in Neek2o mode from Wiiflow from the REAL NAND to the Neek2o NAND and after running the game return straight back to the system menu or WiiFlow from the REAL NAND.

How would I do this?

I mean, how would I list the WW/VC games in the WiiFlow on the REAL NAND?

you select neek2o mode from game settings or you exit to neek2o
when you quit the game you can go back to wiiflow in neek2o mode and not in real mode.

I know about the neek2o mode in WiiFlow, but not sure what is required to run a WiiWare/VC game in neek2o mode from Wiiflow in the REAL NAND.

I'm confused. I've installed neek2o and have a blank NAND.

• Say I wanted to install and run Castlevania for example, do I install the game in WiiFlow REAL NAND or WiiFlow neek2o NAND, or both so that I can run it from Wiiflow REAL NAND?
• How do I get a listing for Castlevania in WiiFlow on the REAL NAND?
• Do I use MMM and install the WAD in the neek2o NAND?

All I want to do is see a listing for Castlevania in WiiFlow on the REAL NAND, click it, it launches Castlevania in neek2o. When the game closes, it returns to either the system menu of the REAL NAND or Wiiflow in the REAL NAND.

Please advise.

the game will install to the emunand only, not real nand if you use wiiflow file explorer
to install it on the real nand you need a wad manager
you can use yawmm or mmm to install wads to both nands but installing to emunand on PC using showmiiwads is much faster

I know how to install WADs on both the REAL NAND and the emuNAND.

What I want to do is find out how to open Wiiflow on the REALNAND, select a WiiWare/Virtual Console game, have it open and run the game in neek2o mode on the emuNAND, then when the game is finished running, return to the REAL NAND.

How do I do that?

How do I make the game show in WiiFlow on the REAL NAND? How do I make WiiFlow on the REAL NAND run the game listed in the REAL NAND on the emu/neek2o NAND?

Never mind. Worked it out.

No games have to be installed on neek2o NAND. You just need neek2o installed on the REAL NAND and set the run with "neek2o" in Wiiflow and it will run it properly.
