Hardware Wii2hdmi distorted image

I bought a wii2hdmi and it worked perfectly at first, but it suddenly stopped working correctly. Now the image is very distorted. I've tried different hdmi cables and different hdmi ports on the tv, but that didn't work. I also tried with the wii's original AV cable, wich does work so it's not a problem with the console.

I have one since 2 years and it work great. I think your wii2hdmi can have a problem. For the price it cost, just buy another one on eBay. You have nothing to lose. It will give you an answer.

I thought maybe it was a common problem with a simple fix, but i guess mine was just defective since it only lasted a couple months, guess i'll simply get another one

I had similar issue, when I hooked up wii to TV via AV receiver, which didn't like the Wii2HDMI 480p signal output.
