Hacking Wii your shape question

I had softmodded my wii a long time ago on 4.2 version, even thought I had told my mom to never update the wii if it ask to, she did ( sigh ) with your shape game... Thought, the wii boots normaly, you can play any disk in, but I havent went look in HBC to play a game from my external drive. Which is why I am asking here first if since it's booting normaly, is there any risk going into the HBC? Or I am lucky and everything is fine?

If everything works, I don't see the problem

Games don't always have harmful updates.

update will just of installed the IOS58 for the camera if your SM is up to date, surprising the cIOS is still intact tho, that would of normally have been stubbed
