Yeah, this is a common sense/general knowledge quiz game.

The TV guide thing is a new channel available from the Wii Shopping Channel, called Terebi no Tomo Channel - G Guide for Wii (テレビの友チャンネルGガイド) - free but takes up 101 blocks, and it's useless outside of Japan.

I dunno, most people these days should have digital TV/PVR with TV guide so it doesn't seem worthwhile to boot up your Wii to check as well or need emails to your Wii message board reminding you of what you want to watch (or even changing the channel for you), but it is a free service and the point of being able to share your favourite shows with friends/spot what other people are recommending isn't a bad idea.. with the quality of Japanese TV you need some help in finding something decent with all the crap on.

You can see some example questions here.. the ones shown seem pretty basic. It has online features where you can download questions about current affairs test and compare your results/level of general knowledge with other people - that sounds pretty good, but something which would have been fine as a channel like the voting one.
