A new IP from Nintendo and Skip Ltd who are the developers of Chibi-Robo & Giftpia (come on Nintendo localise that for Wii already) as well as featuring ex-members of Square who have worked on Chrono Trigger. Captain Rainbow tells the story of a hero of the same name and his every day alter-ego Nick. Rainbow is the star of a television show in the land of the free, Mameruka. Thanks to the appearance of some unpopular characters, the ratings for his show have tanked. In order to gain back the shows popularity, Nick decides to head off to Mimin Island. Something happens along the way, however, and Nick learns that he is the only person who can help out the residents of Mimin.
And those residents happen to be forgotten characters from the Nintendo family, including Ossan, the character from the original Famicom Golf and Hikari, from the Japanese game Famicom Mukashibanashi. This unique game promised multiple gameplay features for a unique gaming experience.
Other characters that feature are Little Mac from Punch-Out & Birdo who first appeared on Doki Doki Panic, and then various Mario games. If you didn't play Tingle RPG because you was afraid of catching "the gay" then you are a moron and you'll probably would avoid this game, the rest of us open minded people should be in for a damn good game. Will it come out in the West? Maybe Europe as we got Tingle.

skip have to be one of the most original dev studios out there now, GiFTPiA was one of the best games on the GC and had such a great soundtrack. Shame hardly anyone knows it. With skip involved Captain Rainbow could end up being a triple A title.
