Hacking Wii will not update after removing softmod

After removing the softmod using this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-g...wii-virgin.html I can not get the system to update. I get error code 32004. Nintendo says to try disabling your router firewall, which I did with no success. The only thing I did different than the guide is before I started I went into Bootmii and disabled all the hacks. Also I ran NAND clean and got rid of everything except the last thing that said it was for system menu 4.0 which I have system menu 4.2 so I didn't remove the last thing.

Have you reinstalled your system menu? Try downloading it via NUSD and install the generated wad.
Be CAREFOUL to download the correct system menu.
I believe you will have to reinstall at least the HBC.

Thanks, I tried that and it worked. I am now able to update.
