Hey guys, i wanted to know if the original first gen Wii with homebrew is more stable then Vwii with homebrew. I ask because im thinking of getting a first gen Wii.

The Wii is more safe than vWii, faster to boot into, and can autoboot into an homebrew.
The wii has few protection against semi-brick or even full brick (based on your console's date) and more tools you can use.
vWii doesn't have any brick prevention, and you can't fix a full brick. A lot of homebrew system tools from Wii shouldn't be used on vWii.

If you plan only to launch non system homebrew, such as emulators/games/loaders, they are both fine. just be sure to follow the correct tutorial (wii or vwii, check the date of the tutorial too), and ask question before doing something you are not sure.

Awesome, looks like im gonna get the first gen, thanks :D

You should also try to get a first "first gen" wii, with GC ports (controllers/memory cards)
really useful for some homebrews and Gamecube loader (Nintendont)

ps : a CPU-01 should be icing on the cake too (bootmii boot2), but harder to find.
