Hardware Wii-USB Adapter?

I want to record Wii gameplay (namely Mario Kart) once I finally get a new Wii, but I don't want to spend a fortune on a capture device. I've read that I can connect my Wii to my computer through a Wii to USB adapter (USB side connecting to my laptop and Wii side connecting to the Wii's AV port). After searching online, however, I cannot seem to find a single adapter of this type.

• Is it out there but just not showing in my search results?
• If not, would my provisioned Wii2HDMI - HDMI to USB connection work?
• If no to both, what is a good alternative (if any) aside from saving up for a capture device?

Eh, I guess the Wii2HDMI > HDMI2USB could work, but if possible try to find an A\V to USB capture thing.

I already bought a USB to AV adapter. Does it make a difference if the AV plugs are male rather than female? https://www.ebay.com/itm/193838792824

You can use Wii2HDMI on your Wii video connection, connect your Wii to your PC using an HDMI cable, and record your gameplay using Bandicam (http://www.bandicam.com) or another recording software.
