Hacking wii updating help

hi i modded my wii a couple of years ago and im having problems getting my microphones to work so i think i need to update everything to the latest versions to get them working .I am on system menu 3.2 and would like to stay on that if possible, i am not sure what i have installed on my wii as it was a long time ago and i cant remember. What are the latest files i need , i am using the old configurable usb loader it says v50 and the old homebrew channel. I have just tried installing cios 222 and it wouldnt work for some reason neither does usb loader gx as it wont see my hdd .Any help getting my system up to date would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
